Hi quality as ever for the black series HDD. I cannot say the same for the purple series so you’ve been warned…

Bought 2 of these in January, one of them lasted until October and then bricked. I sent it back to Western Digital a month ago and after not hearing back for 4 days, chatted with a live agent who said 5-7 business days was the typical processing time. It has now been 19 business days and several patient calls to customer support later have not gotten me any closer to my replacement drive. Anyone looking for a hard drive I encourage you to look elsewhere

HDD is just too slow. You may like the size of this drive, but it isn't worth the slow speeds these days.
