I have been using a regular mop but looking for a better solution to clean my floors. Initially, I bought a Roborock but returned it.The Dreame doesn’t leak if there’s some foam in the dirty water tank. Its assisted wheels work much better—you’re not fighting them like with the Roborock.The Dreame can self-clean and dry while charging, whereas the Roborock needs to be fully charged before it can do that. Roborock stops charging during self-cleaning or drying and uses the battery instead.The Dreame charges much faster. It’s also noticeably quieter.The build quality of the Dreame is significantly better. The location and shape of the clean water tank are much more convenient.It comes with an extra brush, and the brush clicks firmly into place with a proper release button, unlike the Roborock’s brush, which uses a flimsy rubber attachment.The detergent dispenser on the Dreame is larger, better positioned, and has a dedicated button to turn detergent dispensing on or off—much more practical than Roborock’s setup.The built-in LED light is also a nice addition

This is my 2nd Dreame that has unfortunately broken. My first one after about 3 months started saying the dirty water tank was full even when I just started running it. I went through the trouble shooting and it still didn't fix the issue. I got this model thinking since it was the better model and more expensive it would work better. I wanted to love this because the self cleaning option is amazing and I haven’t found that in other mop vacs but I had this one for about 3 months and the entire bottom plastic broke off. Another problem is the company is hard to communicate with and they will not just replace your broken unit, I had to find a box big enough ship my mop backTo them to “repair it”. It’s been over a month and I still don’t have it back yet. It’s unfortunate because I did like this a lot when I had it but for it to basically break in half in a few months is unacceptable, especially for a $500 appliance.

I first started out with Tineco which I would never buy from again because they will not honor their warranty. Their machine broke down two times in a year. So then I bought this machine. Hands-down, it is 10 times better than Tineco. It is easy to use, easy to clean and works fantastic. If I could change anything, it would be the smell. Even if you clean it out right after use the next time you use it, it does have a bad smell. So can I clean mine out? I add a little Fabulosa in the bottom of the container until I use it the next time and it smells wonderful.

This floor scrubber really exceeded my expectations! It has strong suction and mops very cleanly, especially for mixed hardwood floors and kitchen tiles like mine. The self-cleaning function is very convenient. You can put it back on the base and clean it with one click, without having to clean the roller brush yourself. The water tank is well designed, with clean water and dirty water separated, so there will be no problem of dirty water backflow.
