Great makes shaving easy without the ingrown hairs

Excellent wasn't sure as I accept you won't get as close a shave as wet but it's very convenient and quick to use.

I have very sensitive skin and have never found the perfect shaving solution for me. I got tired of the labour of using a double-edge razor, and various kinds and brands of electric shavers seemed to do a pretty poor job of giving me a decent shave. For a while now I’d just been alternating between neglecting my facial hair and using a body hair trimmer with the guard off to give it a buzz cut !!Having used the OneBlade, I’m very impressed. My facial hair had been growing for weeks so was about 1cm in length, but a single pass with the OneBlade already did a surprisingly great job at clearing it. Only those awkward spots on the neck really needed anything beyond a second pass. The result of course wasn’t totally baby smooth like a safety razor but came surprisingly close. I think it’s the best shaving solution I’ve used in terms of the balance of efficacy, convenience and ease. My skin was fairly irritated after using it dry as recommended, but there’s nothing that wouldn’t irritate my skin, and it can be used with shaving cream as well.I had to look up some videos on fitting the parts together, because it does all feel quite fragile and I felt like I might end up snapping things by trying what felt intuitively right. The wordless diagram-based instructions aren’t the most enlightening I’ve seen.My only real criticism is more based on Philips’ practices than the OneBlade itself. I find the abundance of different model numbers (eg QP6652/30, QP2734/20, QP6542/15, ad infinitum) quite confusing and the differences beyond different attachments and accessories aren’t immediately clear. I read a post from someone who said they’d contacted Philips support and been told about motor and battery differences between models, which hadn’t been immediately clear from their online description. That’s why I felt compelled to buy this model—the most expensive one with the Biggest Numbers I could find on Amazon—even though I just want to use it for my face and will probably never use any of the accessories. It’d be good if differences between models were made thoroughly clear.

This is an amazing shaver. My skin feels smooth and no nicks or cuts. It’s a bit pricey but definitely worth the money considering the accessories it comes with. I only wish they would include a small cleaning brush.

Great value for money and great service

I bought the original a few years back, was well pleased with it, thought I would upgrade. Well pleased with this.

This is an excellent overall product and ive owned one for the last several iterations. Always the most premium version of the product.The last unit had a battery that simply gave in. 3 years of light service. Works out to an average of £25 per year. Fine.Ordered a new 'pro' kit, but be warned. Although the marketing shows no plug, there is literally no plug. Just a USB cable. This means in my case, i will have to purchase a USB charging unit.On a separate and perhaps more annoying note, none of the elements are backwards compatible. Not the docking station, not the cable and existing charger which came with my previous purchase(s). Why would your designers consign all of this hardware which I couldve made use of (with this new product) entirely obsolete. Awful from Philips
