Just had a chance to use it for the first time this morning, on someone else's car. It was very simple to connect up and the car with the gutless battery started first time. Very impressed and pleased that I had it.I bought this neat little device to carry around in my EV just in case the 12v battery on that failed (which it never has) and also so that I could jump start other people's cars (I always carried jump leads in the past for this reason, but the EV's 12v battery can't be used with those).I've yet to try starting a car with a completely discharged battery but that seemed like a pretty important feature when I was considering which jump starter to buy.Pros: Simple to use, plenty of power capacity, seems to be solidly built, packs into a tidy little case, has potentially useful additional features (emergency light, powering coolbox, charging phone etc), holds its charge for a very long time when not in use and is very good value for money.Cons: None

Superb, it was a life saver when my car battery suddenly died. Reverse polarity and short circuit protection are great features, though obviously I have not tested these.

Bought this as I have a hybrid car and my battery went flat and had to call breakdown company. Bought this in case same situation arises again. Not actually used it yet but like the look of it and instructions were very easy to read and understand

I have a 1.6 petrol Nissan Juke Automatic. Due to health issues, I find myself not driving very much anymore and during the cold snap around Storm Bert (Nov 24), I found my car battery voltage dropped to levels where it couldn't turn the starter motor or do central locking.I've seen a lot of YouTube vids where people use jump packs so I thought, right, maybe that'll work. Blimey, did it work OK. It was miraculous. We needed to use the car so I turned it on, connected the clamps to correct battery terminals, hit start button....boom, started straight away. I could NOT believe how great this is.There is also a "red button" to press if the first technique fails due to the Voltage being 2V, ie very low but I didn't need that function on this occasion.You can also use it as a generic charging brick for phones etc and has a super bright LED torch that strobes/flashes/stays continuous.For the money and the time it saved waiting for breakdown service I HIGHLY recommend this small but mighty bit of kit.NB: getting the clamps and cable into the carrying pouch after use is a pain. I found putting the plug end in first, then the clamps, works a treat. 10/10 from me.

Seems neat, very well made and suitable for the purpose. I haven't tried it yet (hopefully I never will!) but it is valuable insurance against the possibility.
