I’ve now used this melody, Susie dust collector a handful of times. I have been using it on the high fan mode. I feel that that’s probably the best way to go. I don’t think it’s too loud but in a really quiet area, maybe it would sound really loud. I’m usually wearing headphones when it’s on, so I’m not quite sure.It’s a good size. It’s about the size of an 8 inch dinner plate. It is a couple inches tall. I find it a little bit awkward to be doing my own nails above it. However, I could see you that using it with a client and a proper hand dress and everything it would be as awkward.I saw some girls using a paper towel over the regular filter to help. Keep the regular filter cleaner and going. And the first time I use it I didn’t do that and the dust collected in the filter and was kind of hard to remove. The next few times that I used it I did put some paper towel between the Upper grid and the filter you can remove that grid thing on the top and put paper towel and it closes and it says real nice and the suction is good enough that it catches and pulls the dust. This makes it really easy to clean up your dust mess.I think it is really easy to use and it’s a really great idea. I’m happy that I got it on sale. I think it does. It’s purpose and I think it’s a little bit on the expensive side for what it is, but I am really happy about this purchase

I was a little skeptical because I had bought a nail dust collector before. I was able to purchase this with a deal so I could get the handheld light. Impressive, The sound is a bit loud but the quality is amazing. As a at home nail tech it sucks of the dust pretty well. I barely have any issues with excess dust on level 1 and as I go up to two and three you can't even tell that there was dust. Love this company and the quality it offers at affordable pricing.

Love this dust collector! Works very well for the price. I prefer this one over my 250$ one! Very cute love the color and not too loud!

An honest review for those that want to make sure they aren’t wasting their money:I would say this is a great starter fan. On the high setting I’d say it collected 90% of the dust from my gel set I E-Filed off. It also has a nice safety feature that once you take the top grate off it automatically shuts down. The filter is easy to clean to.It is a touch loud but just as loud as your drill is say.Overall I like it but I do wish the suction was a touch stronger for full dust collection. But like I said 90% dust collection is pretty good for ~40 dollars.

Super cute! Slightly loud but the suction definitely works!

Saves my work space and my lungs when I do nails. there are 3 fan settings and even the lowest setting keeps the dust out of the air. Easy to use and easy to store. Great quality strong plastic. filter is able to be changes easily as well.

This thing sucks and not the way it’s supposed to. Nail dust consolidates in one or two spots and piles up so the dust ends up getting every where anyways which defeats the purpose of using it! It’s very loud too. I just use a mask and a bath towel now which works better than the device I spent $50 on!

Works so well! And I all I have to do it empty the filter. I feel like this will last me so long. I use to have nail dust all over me and now there is barely any. The 3 different setting is amazing!
