Maybe I have read too many boring books that include ways to save on taxes over a lifetime, but I don't think I have ever read one that was easier to grasp or more motivating to try some of these ideas! They make so much sense the way they are presented. I am about to move onto the property of my son and his family and there are so many possibilities of my being an asset rather than a liability for him that I am really excited. I will come back after I try some and let you know how they work out but this makes becoming wealthy accessible for everyone if they just think ahead and set things up differently. Most of us never had enough extra money to hire a fiduciary to help us, so we always paid the max in taxes every time. I know I did, even as an entrepreneur and small business owner. This is underlined and dog-eared so my sons can read it too. But I may buy them a new copy as it has been edited to only the fine points and reasons so I highlighted a lot! A great gift idea for twenty somethings trying to see a way ahead, too!

This book lays out the five pillars of the title’s strategy so clearly, concisely, and effectively, I couldn’t put it down. The author takes what most would call a boring topic -taxes/financial literacy- and makes it interesting.The author’s communication style - conveying the rudimentary fundamentals of the financial world that are pertinent to everyday Americans - makes it seem almost easy to apply his strategy. (Granted, I have yet to get to that step.)By using short chapters and weaving examples based on his work experience throughout, unfamiliar finance terms and financial concepts are conveyed succinctly and clearly.The overall layout of the book - chapter titles, the order of each chapter, the glossary, quizzes, etc. make it a good resource to reference. Still re-reading some of the chapters that seem foreign to me and employing the methods the author recommends to increase my financial I.Q.Highly recommend to anyone who takes their financial future seriously - regardless of age.
