Log sprayer
I used this yesterday and it worked great. Get a can of marker spray paint, load it in, and roll it down the log. Very handy tool. Would recommend to anyone who cuts firewood. It's a must have tool. Your stacks of would will look nice.

Simple and accurate firewood marking!
Super product for cutting firewood to an accurate length! Easy to use, durable, and well designed, the Mingo marker makes cutting proper length firewood easy! No more having to guess at the length, or use a tape measure and sidewalk chalk to mark your logs...just insert a can of marker paint and roll the Mingo along the log...marks the log every 16" (other lengths selectable) for quick cutting! Great product!

Works as advertised, though a little pricey for plastic.
It works as advertised. The marks are within an acceptable range of accuracy with cuts between 15 1/2" - 16 1/2". In the past I have used a 16 in stick I cut and a lumber marking crayon. This is much faster and requires considerably less bending over. I gave it 4 stars because it is just plastic (for $40), though sturdy enough for the job at hand. Wish I had purchased it sooner to save my time and my back.

Great tool
Works great! I have used several methods in the past, this is by far the easiest. Marks exactly 16" every time. Only improvement I could suggest is the use a nylox wingnut on the carriage bolt that holds the wheel in place. With the vibration of riding my ATV the wingnut has fallen off twice. I put a dab of locktite on the threads of the carriage bolt - that keeps it from coming loose. O e of those tools you don't know how you ever did without!

One of those things you did not know you needed
This thing works incredibly well new at being a homesteader. You need to cut my own wood. Really like how this works. Unique woodstove in the fact that it takes a particular size and I wanted to be just under that so the right and this thing works very well, you can measure and cut all the wood by yourself without needing an extra hand

Good idea poor execution
Lever that makes can spray broke off after marking 4 logs and dont see any replacement parts to fix and wheel doesnt grab lig very good probably why theres so many negative reviews on its unpredictable usage

Perfect length wood every time without a prescription!
It’s been a long time since I had my eyes calibrated so my wood was often uneven lengths. My local place was sold out and told me they order them online retail so... I ordered from amazon and saved a couple bucks.It’s well made and crazy easy to use and pretty intuitive. Marking paint was readily available locally. If I had to guess I’d say my average variation in length after using this is an inch or so. It makes for way easier stacking. Especially if you’re a wee bit OCD about things as I am. I really appreciate the uniformity and how easy the Mingo makes it.10/10 would buy again.
