All of the hardware was included and some spare ones. Installation was straightforward and relatively easy, only needed help on some of the last steps for the seat. One screw would not tighten on the predrilled hole on the middle leg so luckily I had a spare screw that was slightly longer to grip and tighten. Aside from that this bench is amazing, very comfortable if you get a 42 inch bench cushion, make sure you get the right measurements for the cushion. Also recommend using floor protectors. Sturdy bench. Love it and it fit beautifully with a rustic modern farmhouse style dining table nearby.

I purchased this for my foyer and it is the perfect size. I need to sit down to put my shoes on and I'm always balancing myself, so I was so happy to find something that would fit. I love the storage under the seat. I have decorative pillows on top too and it looks so nice. This was easy to assemble. It arrived in perfect condition and there was no damage during transit. The color is a dark espresso. It's super sturdy and very manageable. I'm also very confident sitting on it with all my weight! I'm very happy with this.

I didn't notice this in the product description or in any of the reviews but the storage area has venting holes in the back. This might be something a buyer would want or not want depending on how they use the storage area. Overall, I would purchase this again if I needed another storage bench. The product shipped quickly and the unit was well protected in packaging. The wood looks very nice and I liked that the hardware was well labeled and the directions were well written. There was a separate bag labeled extra hardware so that was a good idea. Instructions say you'll need a Phillips screwdriver and rubber mallet for the dowels but I found the dowels were so loose that the mallet was unnecessary. I would not describe the assembly process easy. I have assembled other furniture kits in the past and I found this one to be a 7 out of 10 in assembly ease. Not that there was anything requiring strength but there were a few steps where I had to ask for a helping hand from my husband to hold things together while installing screws. There were 4 screws to attach the center leg support but those screws were not long enough. Luckily I had some that worked in my stash. Many reviewers mentioned the size of the unit being small but I felt it was the same height as another window seat and an ottoman I had. The height is perfect for putting on boots. I think it would look good in an appropriate area but yes, it could look like child's furniture if put in the the wrong setting. I read answers on the weight capacity and the manufacturer answered one time with 265 lbs and another time 300 lbs. so even though it says 2 people can sit on it (yes, there's room for 2), I would keep that total capacity in mind.

We love this bench! It was easy for my husband to put together himself (I only assisted on a couple steps to make it easier but he really didn't need me). It is smaller than we originally wanted but we knew that when we ordered it. We love the storage aspect. Being in Texas, we have "winter" off and on for about two months and then back to early summer and then "I think I'm cooking alive" summer so we now have our scarves, mittens, hats, and any other cold weather gear stored inside it. We have a built in mud room off the garage entrance so this bench is for our friends/family to remove boots and shoes or leave diaper bags, etc. The bench easily held my husband who is 6'4", 290 lbs so the weight limit is great! I would highly recommend this bench! On the plus side, if I ever get tired of it being in the entryway, it will work great in the kids room to hold toys and whatnot.

Well, my wife and I bought this thinking it would be a nice piece. I was wrong! My wife likes it but it is very cheaply made. The piece that allows you to open the seat and have it stay open busted the first time we opened it and closed it. I wanted to return it but my wife was okay that piece not working. So I took the piece off and now it sits in family room. I just home no one sits on it because it seems so flimsy that it will break after one or two weeks of use. We will see.

The saving grace of this bench is that once you slog through assemblying it, it really does look great. The assembly process is flawed however the instructions are simple to follow.The instructions point out "pre drilled holes." There were none, so when you put the first pieces together, you need an army to help keep them from falling apart.Some of the screws are too short for their intended role- I used copious amounts of wood glue and I had to substitute in longer screws in order to hold the divider in place.The wooden dowels are too small for their holes and fall out constantly when you try to assemble them, one even broke off at the base.Once all is said and done, the bench looks fantastic! It's just a rough road to put it together.

Exactly what i needed! Sturdy and classy, it looks like something i would have bought from a big name furniture store for a lot more money. After i added a seat cushion and pillows, it was the perfect addition to my living room!
