I’m completely pleased with this purchase. It was delivered faster than initially stated. It was easy to assemble by myself. Sturdy, holds lots of books, looks great and has a very small footprint. Just ordered a second one to go in another corner of the same room. Highly recommend this book tower.

I saw this item on a short video, and was ... interested. Interested enough to look it up and consider purchasing. I have a lot of books in the house, and shelving for them is a big consideration. Being able to keep lots of books in a compact space is imperative, especially in a smaller house. I calculate that each level actually holds about 25-30 books: more if they are slender paperbacks, few if they are the-size-of-bricks doorstoppers.Yes, the unit is made of bamboo - but thick panels and reinforced. Fully-loaded with books, it still turns readily, and seems to be fairly stable. Ease of assembly, though - the instructions are sketchy in the extreme, although if you look at the pictures, and study the various elements -- and if you are experienced in assembling knock-down furniture, you can figure it out. Important - assemble the side panels with the taller element all at the bottom, or all at the top! Also important - the round holes are where the rods separating the books on the inside are positioned and should be facing the inside when the panels are fixed to the base unit! I'd suggest putting in shelves and corresponding rods one level at a time, from bottom to top, tightening the flat-head screws which support the shelves as you go.I am really quite happy with this shelf set; in spite of being loaded with books (although not as many as 300), the shelves don't appear to be sagging at all.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Looks good. It isn't amazing quality but it's decent for the price. It's slightly wobbly but it doesn't seem like it will fall over. It's just slightly awkward when spinning it around.

Excellent shelf;Beautiful color, holes align perfectly, so easy to assemble; moreover, the panels are linearly pre-connected (unlike other shelves from different sellers), so that the assembly is within the hour. The shelf itself can take a lot of books and is very stable. Didnt have any wobble unlike some others available in the market.

Four months after putting books on the bookshelf, I took the books off and noticed that every single shelf is cracked with the grain. The base is warped. Good concept but cheap wood. Refused to return or replace as after the 30 days. But still broken from holding booked as intended so don't buy.

Great quality, installation is slightly challenging but great product overall

I like books but don't like to see them until I want them. So I set this up near a corner and blacked out half of one side and the middle of the unit with craft paper, then put decorative items on the remaining open half. This decorative side faces front so you don't see the dozens of books I've got on these shelves.I used bookends to backstop the books behind the decorations.Unlike some other bamboo shelves I bought in the past, this unit does not splinter. I used a feather duster on it with no snagging issues. It spins smoothly and took me about 1 hour to assemble by myself. It's lightweight but strong.I'd like to buy another I as soon as I find a place to put it.

Directions to put it together could have been clearer but very happy with finished product. It holds alot of paperback books but I would have given it 5+ stars if it held larger books.
