I have been a professional DJ since 1979, and for various reasons have avoided karaoke. Back in the day, I might rent a system for a one-time event, and they were always heavy, bulky and klunky. And expensive. When this one came in, I thought, "Well, a dual wireless mic system for less than a hundred bucks is good." And then I played with ii...and I'm blown away! Let's start with everything that comes with it....At the heart of this system is the combo receiver/mixer, the most compact unit of its type I have ever seen. It has a single built-in antenna, making this a close quarters unit - mics work well within 100 feet, and slightly less with people within the line of sight - and there's about every kind of input you'd ever need, with the notable exception of XLR. This, though, helps keep this mixer as tiny and minimalist as possible.Next are the mics. I will say that the capsules (the pickup that changes voice into an electrical signals) isn't the best I've heard, but they're far from the worst as well. I might give them a 7+ out of 10. For karaoke purposes, they are perhaps a hair above the typical. They must be paired with the receiver, but the process is as easy as turning on the mixer, then turning on the mic, and then, when the knob on the mixer shows a steady blue, hit "set" and it's done! I had both mics paired and the system operational within three minutes. Several channels are available, so if you're sharing a venue with other wireless systems, you have options.Note that while the instructions (printed book included) don't mention it, you can substitute the two wireless mics with two hard-wired mics via the totally obvious 1/4" jacks on the front panel. I didn't try it during my test, but seems like a great work-around if the wireless batteries die. Oh, and batteries were included, too! (The mixer is powered by a USB power supply, you guessed it: also included!)Now for the music source and then getting the signal to your speaker or PA system. If you're running your backing tracks from a thumb drive or smart TV, there's an HDMI port to make both playing tracks and running the lyrics super easy! If you want to daisy chain to another screen, there's a second HDMI for output. Something that really surprised me was the optical output, which I used to use for direct digital recording back in the '90s. This would make live recording a breeze! But the true workhorses are the 1/8th inch jacks. One is a stereo output that can be jacked directly into a speaker, as shown in my photo, or a mixer with a mini-jack input. A 1/8th to 1/8th cable is included, as is a 1/8th to RCA stereo pair, ideal for attaching to any DJ or audio mixing board.This got me thinking: after decades of ignoring karaoke, if adding a smart screen with an SD card full of karaoke tracks is all I need now, this might just be the best addition I've made all year...and for a smidge less than a C-note! I can't help but be impressed.My lone complaint: the USB-C socket on the mixer is a bit rough. That's it. This is a whole lot of fun for a pittance!

A lot of your "2 mic karaoke sets" don't offer you a lot of adjustability, but I was really surprised that this allows you to adjust not only reverb, but the level of each mic independently, which means you can boost the vocals of your quiet singers, and quiet down the loud ones a bit. It also has a tone control (which is less useful, but still nice to have) so you can tweak the sound a bit. The quality of the mics, both in build quality AND sound quality, I found to be above average for the price. One disappointment that I found was the need for AA batteries to power the microphones. Rechargeables would have been way better. But, on a positive note on that aspect of things is the fact it has 2 1/4" Phono mic inputs, so if your battery-powered mics lose power, or if you decide you have some better wired ones, you can go that route as well. This is nice when you run out of AA's, but of course you need wired mics.Overall, I like it because it's flexible and adjustable and is built really well, but make sure you have a good supply of AA batteries, or invest in rechargeables. 4 stars.

Wow this setup is better than I thought it would be. Two wireless microphones and a mixer with all the connecting wires is a great idea. I hooked it up quickly to my ION Pathfinder wireless bluetooth speaker and WOW. It sounded great right off the bat.Being able to set seperate levels for two mics and a music input will be great. Adding reverb and tone control is an excellent bonus. I connected the power to the charging USB A port on the pathfinder and everything powered up just fine. It all sounds great running through the speaker. This means I won't nees wall power for the mixer, everything is powered by the pathfinder.I found some Karaoke tracks on Spotify and in no time my wife was singing Journey. "Don't stop believing..." This will be fun with the kids.Good purchase.

I was expecting a low quality spare mic sets for my youngest upcoming birthday party. However, it is surprisingly good if you know how to tune it to your liking. The tuner/amp works great and does the job very well for the price. And the two set of mic need to be tuned, but if you have experienced of doing tuning, this wouldn't take too much of your time. Overall, I'm satisfied with the quality of the mic and tuner. Solid 5 star product.
