These battery boxes are a direct replacement for name brand ones and work well.

Wish there were better priced options for official Lego Technic but I'm glad there are others to jump in and fill the demand.

The media could not be loaded. The battery covers can be difficult to remove at times, but otherwise these function as expected. These take 6 AAA batteries each, providing plenty of power for your creations.

I picked these up for my grandson and they work great! He has some other power function pieces (not Lego brand) and they work great together. He connects his Lego brand bricks no problem. Its good to have a few extra battery packs handy for his projects or to switch out quicker when they die. So glad to see off brand power functions for those with limited budgets. These are a fraction of the cost of the original.

I picked up the "9-in-1 Technic-Motor-Kit Compatible with Lego, Power Functions Motor Set with M & L Motors, Remote Control, IR Receiver, AA Battery Box for STEM Project Moc Building Blocks" (Amazon #B0D4M9DVN2) which only comes with one battery box. That means I can only easily control one motor at a times from the battery box.So now that I have this set of 4 Power Function Battery Boxes (Amazon #B0DD43XPVB) I have battery boxes I can use to independently control each of the motors in that kit!I'm very pleased with the way these two sets work very well together!

I am a huge LEGO fan so I don't typically order anything that is not a true LEGO product, but I tend to make an exception for some of the things that are just too expensive or that have been retired. This battery box is no longer available from LEGO, but thankfully these "replacements" work perfectly and are incredibly affordable. As long as no one is violating any copyright laws or anything like that, I hope that retired Power Functions items continue to be made available by third-party companies like this.

These are perfect replacements/supplements for any lego builder who has function motors. They all came individually bagged, are scoff free, and they snap right to technic pieces just as they should. They do not come with any motors or cables, however, so you will need to make sure you have those if you plan to use these batter cases.Overall, I'd recommend them for any building brick enthusiast.

These are essentially an exact replacement for the old power functions battery box, which is not available from Lego anymore. Getting 4 for only $25 is a great value and these work great.
