These I got for a craft project. They are sturdy so you can drill holes if you want to. I'm making wind chimes with these.

I use these things for macrame plant hangers, and while I've only used a couple of them so far and certainly have not made my way through the entire package, they seem good so far. None arrived broken, and none have broken on me since, so I'm happy with them.

So far I’ve used one of these rings for holding a lightweight shawl. The wood is smooth enough so it doesn’t snag on wool. If I were going to wear it to hold a silk scarf though, I’d want to sand it further to be on the safe side.

These rings are solid wood, sanded smooth, and unfinished. They are fairly light colored, with natural markings as you'd expect. It's a great start to a project. If you want to paint, stain, or whatever, they're ready for you to do it however you want. If you want to use them unfinished, they're 100% ready to go!There isn't much issue with fabric, yarn, or cord catching on them, since the rings are already smooth. If you're using it in a sewing project, macrame, crocheting, painting, holding, stacking, or whatever you have in mind, these should do the trick!
