There weren’t any instructions in the box. It took some time, but we were able to figure it out. Instructions would have been helpful though.

Q: will it fog up after going in the water?

No, If the child does not push the buttons while in or under the water.

Q: How do I turn off the hourly chime?

In normal mode press B key twice to enter to alarm mode. Then press D to on/off alarm/chime function. If the alarm/chime symbol appear means alarm /chime function is on otherwise means off

Q: Is it only in military time?

You can set it to 12 hour mode in the time setting mode. When you adjust the hour at first there is an "h" symbol at the bottom. Keep changing the hour till the "h" changes to "a" or "p", to denote am or pm. Hope that makes sense!
