New Balance Men's Composite Toe Quikshift Industrial Shoe

Bought after they discontinued there extra large boots (989v2 if memory serves). They fit just like my boots did but are easily half to a third the weight. They also have a thick and soft sole to the show which helps absorb impact well and quite a bit more flex at the ankle which has made it easier to move. I also enjoy the quality of the composite toe as it’s easily as sturdy as metal at a fraction of the weight. I’d highly recommend it to people who need a boat oar of a shoe like me because few companies have a bigger size shoe that fit this comfortably.

I have 3 different pairs of the industrial toe protect shoes and I am very happy w/ the ruggedness, comfort and look of these shoes.

I have wide feet, specifically wide toes. I cannot stand shoes or work boots that crowd my toes. I also prefer not to break in a new pair of work shoes/boots. Well these were perfect. I just finished seven 12 hour shifts. That’s an 84 hour work week at my blue collar job being on a cement floor for most of that time. No blisters, or weird soreness, my feet feel great for what the situation is. Impressed with not having an actual break in period. I expect to replace these shoes in about a year at the rate that I use my shoes. Not a problem, as long as my feet are good and I can continue bringing home that bread. Now if only I could find this same exact fit but in leather!

My heels are extremely sore after wearing these all day! No cushion whatsoever with these shoes! My advice?….buy a good set of gel inserts before wearing!

These steel toes are very comfortable and durable.

Love the toe protection and they fit my wide feet.

The shoes feels & looks big for size however it is "roomy" & quite comfortable wearing them.Cushion is good but I added insoles just for extra support since I have back problem.The shoes itself does not feel that heavy.
