Nice womens parfume

First time trying this fragrance. I bought blind as it was on offer and reasonably cheap.The smell is quite heady. Very 80s, but not as strong as some of the scents worn back then.I would call this more of an evening perfume. Dark florals with a touch of berries. I can also detect a slight animalistic undertone when first sprayed but this quickly goes.I can’t say if this is the same formula/scent as the original late 80s version as I never smelt that one.I don’t think it’s a bad scent but my daughter who is in her twenties really doesn’t like the smell of it at all.Longevity is ok. Quickly mellows out to be a more subtle scent after applying, but I can still smell it on my clothes by the end of the day.Not really a modern perfume, but different enough to set it apart from the scents these days that all seem to smell similar.

One of my customers wears this fragrance all the time. I loved this fresh flowery and fruity scent so much, I had to ask her what it was, so she told me and she also told me that her hubby has been buying it for the past 30 years every year for her birthday. Next time she came in, she brought me a cute little tester to try it on myself. What can I say? I absolutely fell in love with it! So much so, that I bought myself AND my mum a 100ml bottle for her birthday. My mum calls it the scent of the "great wide world".
