work as advertised, but I could only connect two at a time. Three or more didn't work
I used these to connect some old HDMI cables together so I could put my desktop PC in the closet and run the HDMI to my monitor. While the connectors work fine, your old cable may not. And stringing a couple of short ones together may not work either due to exceeding the signal length or the cables wont align exactly. Bottom line. Order a new 4k or 8k cable the length you need and toss your old short ones

Signal loss expected
Signal strength loss, sometimes it’s better to buy the right size cord. My home’s WiFi signal is stronger than a cable chord. But it is handy when needed. When you split you signal, the strength of the signal is degraded.But they were made well, and will perform the job.
