Great cat grass! My cats love it, but I have to limit their intake - a few big bites at a time - so they don’t overeat. It took about 7 days to grow healthy. I followed the directions, kept it in a dark laundry closet for 3 days with moist soil and plastic wrap for humidity. Initially for set up, I added 20% vermiculite to the base soil I had from an ACE Hardware herb planting kit I didnt use (which included a fertilizer presumably safe becuase it was for human herbs to eat). After the base soil I put the seeds in and covered them with 1/4" soil, though next time I’ll be more careful with the soil depth maybe adding more as some kinda popped out once they started spouting. Never fully watered, just kept misting with spray bottle. Once I saw some sprouts and a little green popping up, I moved it to full sunlight (9am-12pm in morning sunlight, then 2-5pm afternoon light). My cats love biting big mouthfuls, like four-five stalks at once, so I may plant a bit deeper next time. Highly recommend these seeds, but note that you only get seeds—make sure you have a suitable container to prevent messes. I'll be looking for something bigger and rounder with weight so they dot knock it over compared to the plastic window garderner from ACE. make sure you got holes on the bottom and if you see yellow at tips of grass get your planter in full sun to get that soil good and dry.

This grows in less than a week. Easy instructions to follow and my cat loves it!

Planted in potting soil, watered and covered with plastic wrap and put in dark cabinet. Had sprouts by day 3 and tall grass by day 5. Easy to do. Opened every day for fresh air and kept soil moist not wet. Cats like it.

I grew this for my partners cat and it took less than a week from start to finish. It is fun and a cool project you can do with kids or anyone who can put water on it and give it light. The cat likes the grass too. My dogs have seemed interested as well.My recommendations to you: Follow the directions to a T - they have it figured out. Definitely have something that deep roots can be in. My grass needed a deeper pot and seems to always be thirsty. Within a week or 2 the whole pot was root covered, so I think I should have chosen a better pot (I chose an interesting one.. no regrets though.) Make sure you water it a lot because it is a thirsty pot of grass and it loves sunlight.Worth the buy and the journey it was a fun plant project. Also, I didn't use a ton of the seeds, so it can be easily redone a few times if you don't have some massive grass pot.

This product germinated quickly and my cats really enjoy the grass. I did have a problem in shipping as the bag was unzipped, and some of the seed was on the bottom of the shipping container.

My cats love cat grass. It is expensive to buy already grown. These seeds germinate fast and grow fast. I have two cats and do a new plant about every 7 days. It is an inexpensive way to get your cat the greens they need.
