This is a re-sealable bag of 180x loose 100mg zinc tablets, so with minimal packaging. The supplier is supplemented.co.uk and the brand is Zinc Max, which is claimed to be 100% organic and of pharmaceutical grade (though it’s hard to see how the term ‘organic’ can have any real meaning for a natural mineral which is neither grown, nor fed fertilizer).The 100mg tabs include ’30 mg of elemental zinc’ so presumably the mineral is bonded with other agents to aid its ingestion and make it stick together as a tablet which may be swallowed easily; so in fact the actual dosage is 30mg rather than 100mg. RDA is only 11mg for adult males and 9mg for adult females (rising to 12mg if you’re pregnant), so a tab containing 30 mg each day is in fact more than any normal adult human will need as a supplement, presuming your dietary intake is zero – and very few of us will have a dietary intake of zero unless you live exclusively on junk food or else are undergoing an extended period of fasting.Natural food sources of zinc are meat, fish, dairy produce, eggs, cereals and pumpkin seeds. Fruits and vegetables in general have very low zinc concentrations.Bottom line: one of these tabs each day is all you’re likely to need even if your dietary intake is zero, or you have some medically diagnosed biochemical issue with the absorption or retention of zinc. One of these bags should last you six months if you take one a day, divided by the number of people in your family if you’re all taking it. 2x tabs in a week will almost certainly be enough to ensure healthy serum levels are maintained.

Been taking these for a month now and the baby hair growth is crazy! Also the length and ends of my hair have never been in better condition after reading about the benefits of zinc I ordered it and the biggest one is my hair can’t believe it
