I thought it would be fun to try out this badminton set with my daughter. I always had fun playing it when I was growing up and figured it would give us a little more variety in our options for activities to do at the park.The set is pretty basic. I received the two-player set; the listing was confusing since it said there would be 4 rackets and 6 shuttlecocks but the 2-player set includes 2 rackets and 3 shuttlecocks. Each racket’s handle is wrapped with some kind of foam tape. It’s not very evenly aligned; I noticed some spots where the next wrap did not overlap the previous one the way it usually would. The foam was wrapped in plastic which I had trouble removing; I had to cut the plastic periodically and it had ripped into a bunch of little pieces by the time I was done. Using scissors to cut the plastic also created indents in the foam tape.The rackets are very lightweight. Though I am concerned about the durability of the foam tape since it got indented so easily just when I removed the protective plastic, I did find them easy to hold.I like that it comes with a carrying case since it made it really easy to carry the set to the park. The shuttlecocks come in a little tube and the one we tried had a good bounce to it against the racket.Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to play with them for very long; my daughter had trouble hitting the shuttlecock with any accuracy and she got too frustrated to continue. Obviously I can’t blame the product for that, and I’m hopeful we’ll be able to revisit it with more success in the future. For the little while I was able to convince her to try it, I didn’t have any problems and found the set easy to play with.At the time of this writing I can’t say this set is a particularly good deal: the price is a little steep compared to similar products, and I’d prefer the wrapping to be applied better. If you’re set on having one pink racket and one blue one, it will work as a basic set to try out the game.

These badminton rackets are good for beginners or kids. They really are not meant for really serious players. If you are just learning the sport or have kids that want to play, these are good for that purpose.

I couldn't be happier with this badminton racket set! I got it for my kids to help them learn the game, and they love it. The set comes with everything you need for backyard fun—two rackets and three durable nylon shuttlecocks for two players, plus the option for four players with extra rackets and shuttlecocks. The quality is impressive, and the shuttlecocks hold up really well, even after multiple games. It’s been a fantastic way to keep them active and entertained outside.

This is a nice little set I ordered for my grandkids so they could learn how to play badminton when they come over to visit. I am always looking for new toys and activities to keep them engaged and active. They have played with these now a few times, and really had a good time. They come in a light pink and blue color, which might appeal to some kids who favor pink for girls and blue for boys. It took a little while to teach them how to serve and return the birdies, and also stay away from trees and the roof so the shuttlecocks wouldn't get stuck or lost, but once they got going, they enjoy playing with it a long time, and since there are only 2 rackets in this set, they took turns with their cousins. In the "old days" I believe our rackets were wood, and these are more narrow, but I like that they're made of light aluminum metal because it actually makes them durable if they get dropped and easy to swing for kids without being too heavy. The stringing seems decent, you get 3 birdies in a container, with a protective carrying case that has a handle so you can easily tote it with you to the park or when visiting friends and family, and overall the rackets and shuttlecocks work fine, and are of decent quality, so it's a nice set and good value for what you get.
