NuPro Kindle Oasis Screen Protector Kit (9th Generation – 2017 release), 2-Pack, Anti-Glare

From the very beginning of owning phones, tablets etc I personally had 2 things I would do before even switching the device on : 1) a cover 2) a screen protector !You see so many phones, tablets etc either in use or for sale in second hand (sorry, 'used') shops, with scratches, or broken screens or that generally look as if someone has played football with them, would I want to own one of those ? No way.Why would someone pay hundreds of pounds an then not want to protect their investment and it doesn't cost a fortune either.Enter this excellent screen protector.I have always been slightly dubious about these hardened glass type of protectors until I have used a few of them, now I am a BIG fan of them, and I never though I would say that !So why the change of heart ?Well firstly if you have a 'plastic film protector', they provide minimal protection against being scratched and nothing if a heavy object is dropped on it, you would end up with a broken screen.With a hardened glass protector, it is scratch resistant and if an heavy object is dropped on it, yes it would crack, but your precious screen underneath would be 100% OK, you would then just need to replace the protector and NOT the screen.Secondly is the ease of applying these screens, I have literally put hundreds of screen protectors on for both myself, friends and family, and often wondered why the plastic ones came in packs of three or more...The answer is it is so difficult to get them on first time, so usually I waste one or two before I perfect the technique, this depends on the actual protector too, some are better than others, even when they are on you have the problem of the dreaded 'air bubbles'.Enter the harden glass screen, these are actually an absolute delight to put on, yes, I really enjoy putting them on !I was dubious about them being glass, thinking I might cut my finger etc when applying them, but you don't need to worry.Make sure the screen is clean and dry, and even if the item is brand new and you habe just removed the plastic film the manufacturer has put on, PLEASE clean and dry the screen with the wipes provided and check for any dust specks afterwards !Next you remove the protective film off the back of the glass screen, now to have a nice ridged piece of glass to get hold of, not some floppy plastic film which you have to try and guess how to line up in the hope you are correct, and most times you get it wrong.I line the glass up by sight, slowly lowering onto the actual screen, 99.9% of the time I line it up perfect but If you go get it wrong just gently lift it off and try again, but DO NOT press on the screen if it is on wrong, otherwise it will stick to the screen.Next I just press in the centre of the screen (when you are 100% OK it is lined up) and literally watch the magic happen.. you see it literally install itself from the centre to the edges, it is really fascinating to watch, I love it, OK I don't get out much I know :-)In conclusion, if like me you had doubts about this sort of screen protector, give these excellent screens a try, you won't regret it, you will never go back to the old plastic 'fiddly' type again... trust me on this one.

Arrived in time allotted, was informed of it's delivery journey. All the stuff to make sure you had adhesion on the glass was in the packaging, including dust magnetic cloth, as well as instructions of how to fit. Easy to fit and adheres well although it was a bit of alignment so took it off which was easy and repositioned in correct position. It adhered OK even though I'd taken it off and put back on. I then removed the air bubbles with the cloth and piece of plastic they supply with it, there was a few bubbles left but as it said in the instructions they'd go in 24 hours which they did. It protects the kindle glass from scratches, it also is anti glare that works really well in the sun, this I know as reading in the living room with the winter sun shining on window I could still read Kindle with no problems. This product is very good value for money.

If (like me) air bubbles drive you round the bend then this is the screen protector for you. I tried a 2-pack from a different brand and both of attempts had numerous air bubbles which I was able to remove, apart from the ones around the page turn buttons. No matter what I did I couldn’t get rid of them. Thanks to this one having two little holes near the cut out for the buttons and the backing having two separate parts it makes it so easy to apply. I did it in seconds and didn’t have any bubbles. I can now fall asleep safe in the knowledge that I’m not going to scratch my screen!

Purchased because the oasis is expensive - and it was a gift from my children - u can’t really test it but fingers crossed 🤞 it will do its job If needed. I’m happy with this purchase. 👍😀

These screen protectors fit the Oasis 10th generation very well. You get two in the pack and I made a bit of a mess the first time (my fault for not using the sticker to remove all the dust). The second one went on really well. It’s a a bit shinier than the glass screen but no problem. It fits round the page buttons and light sensors very well. I was really looking for a tempered glass screen protectors for but I would recommend this plastic film version.

Great product that doesn’t add bulk or glare to kindle

An easy to fit "bubble-free" screen protector for my Kindle Oasis.It adequately covers the full screen and the only tricky bit is to ensure it doesn't foul the page turn buttons when fitting.Once installed, it's practically invisible and touch-screen sensitivity is unimpaired.However, anti-glare is poor - indeed, it's shinier than the unprotected Oasis screen!Worse, the protectors also have annoying small circular holes above and below the page-turn buttons. These appear to have no obvious purpose and significantly marr the appearance (see photo). That said, the holes do not impact performance in any way....I returned the protectors as I was told the addional holes should not have been there. Alas, the replacements are identical which is disappointing........

slightly more glossy than kindle screen only a tiny bit, but feel it’s worth it for the protection, rather have that than a scratched screen, very good fit and found it easy to install.
