Buttoned Down Men's Tailored Fit Spread Collar Solid Non-Iron Dress Shirt

I was very pleasantly surprised by both the product as well as the order process of the Amazon Wardrobe.First the shirt: The Buttoned Down house brand is a winner. Fit and quality are even better than expected. Very soft even right out of the bag and solid weight of fabric. Not too heavy which is perfect for most days since presumably you'd be wearing a t-shirt with the more formal look. Stitching seems very good and collar style is contemporary spread collar. The Tailored Fit was perfect for me -- I'm 5'9", 205 with a somewhat muscular build up top and a little extra around the middle. It was just fitted enough, unlike the skinny or thin fit that seems to pervade the world of men's clothing. I'm wearing this for my wedding with a suit and it seems to be a perfect complement. It is better than the majority of brand name dress shirts in a similar price range, and comparable to most in the $80-$100 range for half the price.Service: I am now a convert and will look to purchase more staples like shirts from Amazon Wardrobe. The process was so easy and after spending a few hours searching for the right size and cut to fit me, this was so much easier. It was easy to find a few shirts in my general size -- I ordered 3; 16.5/33 classic, a 16/33 tailored, and a 16.5/33 tailored - the one I eventually purchased. And nice to have options for collars and pockets, which I had a very hard time finding at the department store. Also very easy to compare (I only needed to try on 2 of the 3 I ordered) and it was very easy to return the items I didn't need.To sum up, if you struggle to find quality clothing in your size, this may be the way to go. I know it won't be my last purchase.

These have been the best dress shirts I've bought and for a great price! I apprehensively bought two of these dress shirts concerned about the fit material quality and feel, etc.I can attest that Amazon's Buttoned Down collection is great! These shirts fit exactly as they're marked. Also, the material is a nice smooth high quality tight weave. The material will wrinkle after a long day of work, but it's otherwise wrinkle less. I've also purchased the French cuff version and that's just as good! When it comes to shirts, I'm very particular. I demand a front chest pocket, smooth tight weave fabric, a 'pocketed' button front (adds rigidity to the shirt) and long enough to actually securely tuck into your pants. This shirt checks all those boxes! I've bought at least 3 more since and I couldn't be happier! I highly recommend this shirt!

I have an athletic fit, and the fit is nice at the waist but a little tight at the chest. The shirt itself has a great look and a great material so it's a great value and I highly recommend the purchase.

Like the world, I read reviews, there were mixed, but the vast majority were very positive, and numbers always point to "majority wins", and my gut feeling was that something had to be true with the multitude of great reviews.Proof is in the pudding: the shirt is of superb quality, my first concern was how does it feel, is the material too thick? The answers is that the cotton is nice and soft, very sleek feeling, the fit was perfect and no visible signs of threads or any quality issue.The most amazing part about Amazon that truly continues to amaze is that the shirt arrived the next day. I searched so many sites for 17.5" collar 33 length and nothing to be found (as an example), yet Amazon has the exact fit and ready the next day. I'm buying more Amazon stock :-)

The fit and quality of this shirt is very good and I would buy another one if I needed another dress shirt. The material feels soft and appears to be quality cotton. I was apprehensive about shrinkage after laundering but there was little to no shrinkage. The fit was one of the best I have had from an off-the-rack dress shirt. I have difficulty fitting dress shirts and suits. I train with weights and have a muscular upper body so shirts that fit my waist well are far too tight in the chest and arms. If a shirt is large enough for a decent fit in the neck, chest and arms; then the shirt fits like a tent in the waist. I have a 48" chest and 35" waist. This shirt (17/33) is still a bit roomy in the waist and the shoulders are a little tight, but the fit is quite good compared to other shirts. If you have an athletic physique, this is a good choice and I would recommend it. Of course, everyone will need to assess their own physique properly and honestly.

The quality of this shirt was surprisingly good. It's held up. The buttons are still in place after several washes and usage.

I was really excited about the selection of sizes available. It's tough to find a 16' neck and 37" sleeve. The quality of the shirt seems great but sizing was a bit off. Here are my observations:-Sleeve length: Spot on!-Neck size: seemed to small. I wear a lot of dress shirts and this one seems to run about 1/2" small-Material: has a nice feel to it but is very thin. I could clearly see the markings on my undershirt.-Quality: Very nice. The stitching looked good.-Misc: The pockets on the collar for the collar stays seemed pretty shallow. It fit the ones provided perfectly but would not fit any of the different brass stays that I prefer to use.Overall view of the shirt is that I probably won't end up wearing it (or replacing for a larger neck size) because I can see through the shirt. Bummer.

Very nice shirt, Packed well with clips not pins. The fabric feels well made and tightly woven, seams are flat and done well. I would love o keep it but the neck is just too small to button. My neck measures right at 20" so you may want to order a size up... Unfortunately they don't appear to make a 21.It such a nice shirt for the price I am considering keeping it and having the neck button lengthened or moved out a bit. I don't know yet, having it adjusted is likely going to cost me half as much as the shirt.I also wished they made one with the collar points a bit longer (classic collar rather than a spread collar).

Lovely shirtFits beautifully and fabric feels wonderful. My wife (who has a pathological aversion to me wearing 'boring' blue shirts) even likes the colour.I don't know if I would pay full price for this shirt (just because I've never paid that much for a shirt) but I suspect that they probably are worth that much and if they are ever on offer again I would buy again without hesitation.
