This ain't no Q-Tip.
Normally I don't like in ear monitors or "ear buds". They aren't that comfortable, they make my ears itch, and they usually don't sound that great.I like to listen to music... pretty much all the time. When I'm in the shop I wear over-the-ear headphones to block out the screaming sounds of the table saw, sander, planer... the loud stuff. The downside is that the headphones end up making the sides of your head hot.One problem after another... yeah, tell me about it....I decided to give these little beauties a try. They won't replace the headphones in the shop as they don't offer than much ear protection from the tools. They will replace the headphones I wear at work.I used the smallest tip that came with the set so that it wouldn't push against the inside of my ear too much. The monitors don't block out as much noise, but enough to be able to hear the music without much interference. In the studio I turned the monitors off and popped these little suckers in my ears. Plugging them into the headphone jack and opening the DAW I played a few tracks. They worked well. There was a much fuller sound than I was expecting. Would I use them for a final mix and master, probably not. Would I use them while on the throne at the e-kit, yeah. Would I use them with the guitar and bass headphone amps, yeah.Decent sound and more comfortable than others I've tried. Great product.JOYO, if you're listening... including a bluetooth receiver FOB that allowed you to connect to a phone or tablet for listening to music/audio books/podcasts would be a really nice addition. Most people are psychologically tethered to their phones, if a physical tethering can be avoided, let's avoid it.

Great sound but too easily detachable
These in ear monitors are a big improvement over most of those that come with the monitor systems. The sound quality is pretty close to a Shure set I have that costs considerably more. These buds are comfortable but follow the instructions for how to wear them otherwise you'll find yourself constantly putting them back in.After a month of use, I found the detachable ear piece to be too easily detachable. One side in particular was just too loose and often came detached from the cable. This one has now come detached, lost, and I don't see any way to purchase a replacement. So the headphones are now useless. Good headphones but if you get them be careful not to lose those detachable ear pieces.

A Very Nice Pair of In Ear Monitors!! 👍👍
As a Musician, Songwriter & Producer I've gone through a lot of In Ear Monitors because it's the best way to protect your ears and actually hear what you're playing compared to the old floor Monitors of yesteryear! I've had some great In Ear Montors prices under $50 and some horrible ones priced at $100+These In Ears are great for the price point they're at! I plugged them into my old iPad and the songs sound awesome through them! There's a surprising amount of bass through these In ears and it picks up the treble & higher frequencies quite well too!The big test however was how they felt & sounded in real life while I was performing playing my guitar and singing like I would normally do. I feel that the Monitors performed well but felt slightly muted as if there was compression on the over all performance. Some musicians may like this and not have a problem with that. However when I threw on my other pair of In Ears which actually happens to be by the same company as well there was more airiness and breadth through the vocals! It gave me more energy to pump more into the song and helped create a better performance!I just felt that these lacked on that really upper high end that I was looking for. I suppose I could've EQ'd the mix so I felt the Airiness that I was looking for. However when I did a side by side I felt my other In Ears by the same company were better and just ready to go as is!Please note that I'm a professional musician so what I feel and hear is going to be completely different from the normal average user!I can say with confidence for the average user these will be an awesome pair of In Ears which they'll totally enjoy. Finally, I love the Packaging! Everyone likes a carrying case especially for In Ear Monitors! If you're going to spend the money you definitely want to keep them protected so the provided case is handy!OK one other thing I should've mentioned is the Black Braided Cable that came with these In Ear Monitors! Honestly I wish they were smooth cables rather than braided because they get a little tangled up! OK all joking aside, as soon as I took them off and put them in the case and took them out again they would get all tangly again!Anyhow this is all I have on my review of these In Ears! I always give an honest straight forward review of the good, the bad and the ugly! This product is GOOD so I hope you enjoy it!

Fatiguing in the treble, but otherwise sounded accurate
I prefer my sound close the Herman curve, and generally don’t like the sound of v-shaped (fun) consumer headphones. I like a clinical listen, where I can hear the instruments as distinct and spaced in a soundstage. And I have headphones ranging from 20 bucks to well over 500, and a few Dac amps to drive them. I listen almost exclusively to lossless sources, and have played musical instruments all my life. So I approach a sub 100 dollar set of monitors expecting to be underwhelmed, and I was pleasantly surprised that these are decent monitors. They sound realistic to me. I did get some harshness in the treble at higher volumes, and I don’t normally get easily fatigued by that in headphones that bother others for that reason. So if you have this issue, I’d avoid these. That said, I think these are a good value. I don’t like the cable; it’s very thin and prone to getting tangled. Like most in this price class, it’s an upgrade that’s easy to justify. I will enjoy these no doubt, and would recommend them to people who appreciate music as it was recorded
