Had two young Zutano avacado trees (half-inch thick trunks) that were failing and dropping leaves in the hot California sun. This helped them both come back.

I was starting an avocado plant from a seed. Everything was going well until my plant started drooping. I used this product and it rejuvenated the growth of my little plant. Very pleased.

We have several young avocado trees (Haas, Reed and a hybrid Bacon) and they can be a bit tricky and needy. We've found that they require just the right type of soil, water, and specific nutrients. Our regional UC Ag Extension tells us that avocado trees need fertilizers with key nutrients including nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, iron, manganese, calcium, magnesium, and sulfur. It is also suggested that avocados can benefit from both fertilizer spread on the ground or in the water supply and also via topical spraying of the tree. As noted in the photographs, we thoroughly bathed the entire young trees (leaves, stems, trunk) with the mixture, waited three hours, and then did a second spray. We will continue this protocol every two weeks for a month or two to ensure a plentiful supply of nutrients.After a couple of months of use, we will report back if desired results were not achieved. Until then, this is a reasonably-priced topical fertilizer that features some of the specific nutrients avocados require for healthy growth.

We have 2 avocado trees, they both seem to be thriving with this. They’re green and vibrant. No fruit yet, they’re too young, but they’re growing fast. This makes 64 gallons of fertilizer, enough to give each tree a nice green for over half a year. It’s a great value, your trees will thank you.

This fertilizer concentrate is mixed with water at 1 tsp per gallon, so I fully expect 32oz to last 4 years or so with my 3 plants. In that regard it's a pretty good value. As far as I could tell there's nothing about this formula that makes it specific to avocado trees, but that is what I'm mainly using it for (orange tree as well). Unlike most plat fertilizers which you add to the soil, this should be sprayed on the leaves and trunk. We'll see how it goes.

Last year, I planted every avocado pit instead of throwing them in the compost. Even if I'll never see it fruit, it's fun to grow just for their leaves. This spray/plant food is easy to use.
