I purchased this ambient atmosphere cube light to add a touch of tranquility to my bedroom, and it has completely transformed the space. This Light box gives any room quite a vibe! The wavy pattern causes the light to emit through the room given the square shape. I really appreciate a simple plug and play set up and this is exactly that. The remote control is very clear and intuitive. There are settings tolower the lightchange colorschange patterns ( through colors slowly or quickly)And a good bold on button.We have enjoyed the faster settings - strobe for dance parties, the fade ( slow) for relaxing and even use it as w night light. Absolutely worth it and fun. It still is visually appealing when completely off too!The kids love it in their room to sleep and setting it up to dance too!

... but only barely. Upon turning it on, the rotating lens inside makes a grinding noise for about ten minutes, after which it runs silently. I'm not holding out a lot of hope that this thing will last very long. USB power source, so make sure you have something to plug it into and if you're not right next to a computer, make sure the plug is no further away than the 18 inches the cord will reach. I put it on the corner of a desk against a wall and barely made it to the power socket in the wall. Full points for the fact that the remote actually comes with a battery. It makes the lighting effect as advertised but it WILL NOT light up a room. In fact, you'd be lucky to light a small closet with the anemic light generated by this thing.

I love is it lights up the room so good! I feel like that look like the northern lights aurora’s. It makes my room so comfortable. The colors are beautiful, and it makes my room have a relaxing vibe to it. You can push the power button manually, or you can turn it on and off with the remote which I love because sometimes if I’m too lazy to get up to turn it off, all I have to do is just push the button on the remote.
