For the past 30 years I've been trying to fix my Nintendo games/consoles with a pair of needle nosed pliers or a melted ink pen. I've avoided getting these bits because I didn't have a handle for them to go into. The handle and the bits are a game changer (pun intended)! I installed all five batteries in five different Gameboy games and it only took me maybe 20 minutes total. THAT INCLUDES SOLDIER TIME! Everything works as it should, it made installation a breeze and the batteries fit perfectly. If you want to breathe new life into your old games, I highly recommend this kit. You couldn't find a better value for the money!

This kit was all I needed to give new life to my gameboy color! I used the triwing screwdriver to open the shell, clean the inside and re-solder joints. The Nintendo security bit work great to open my gameboy cartridges. I used two of the batteries so far to replace the OEM batteries in my gameboy cartridges. Worked great and now both games can save again! So much value in this kit!

Screw driving works perfect. I bought to replace my pokemon silver battery. That battery included were much smaller than the one on the original game. It got my worry. But after I read the review I used it added some extra soldering and it work perfectly. I do recommend this kit is all you need for those retro games

Very nice kit. Battery is “too small” for Pokémon gold. Voltage is correct. Tabs are opposite of what is needed. With some solder work i was able to get the battery to connect by making a small extension off the battery tab. Correct sized battery for the pokemon game would have been nice to have but the gold and silver may be the odd part of the fiasco as I have not repaired any other games yet. The security bits are very nice.

The batteries are in excellent condition with significant remaining lifespan, and installation into the cartridge proceeded without incident. The tools are precisely sized for all Nintendo cartridge types and are user-friendly.

I bought this with the hopes of fixing my gamecolor game silver. Everything worked great except the batters which are way too small to fix the game so I had to end up buying different batteries to fix the game. If you are panning to fix your game boy games I would recommend buying this for the screwdriver if you don't have one and be prepaired on buying different batteries if you do but If you have your own screwdrivers then I wouldn't recommend buying it.

No lo recomiendo. Recibí distintos tamaños de batería (CR1616 en lugar del CR2025). Son para cartuchos de Game Boy Advance en lugar de Game Boy Color.

Perfect for replacing the battery in my Pokemon Yellow cartridge. Pokemon Silver required a larger CR2025 battery, but the screwdriver included in this kit at least helped me open it.
