It worked perfectly. Image quality improved and fits perfectly.

It does what it says. You can see the difference clearly and it makes for better quality video. Easy to install, especially if you install it before installing the actual dashcam. I recommend it.

I purchased the CPL-3345 polarizing lens for my Alfa Romeo Giulia, even though I didn't purchase the dash cam "kit" from FITCAMX. Most of the dash cam "kits" that fit behind the rearview mirror have the same housing. Different vendors use different components in the housings, but the outer housings are usually the same. I took a chance that the FITCAMX housing was the same housing as my dash cam kit that I purchased elsewhere, and it was. The lens eliminates about 85% of the glare on the windshield. As others have said, the price is high. Other than that, the polarizing lens fits and works perfectly.

Works very well. But it should have been included with the unit to be honest. Without it, you'll get that glare from the sun.The adhesive backing was difficult to remove, possible that it was sitting in a warehouse and dried out.

Huge reduction in glare and eliminates the annoying reflection from the dashboard in bright sun, night images look nice and crisp. I like the fact that you can adjust the polarization by rotating the lenses until you get the perfect image. Peeling the 3M backing was the most difficult part of the install.

I bought this to go with my dash camera and the lens is 10x the size of the lens. There was no way to get it to work including trying to pin it between the windshield and casing.

This thing works surprisingly well. It is a polarizer as well as a slight ND filter. The BEFORE and AFTER shows the reflections of the dash on the windshield get reduced greatly when you find the correct orientation of the lens. Both the BEFORE and AFTER pictures were direct sunlight, but due to the lens having a slight shade color to it, it does make it look like a cloud was covering the light.Installation was super simple, just remove the adhesive cover and press it over the camera lens of the dashcam. the plastic molding around the camera will align it properly to be nice and center.I mainly wanted to write this review so if anyone searches the keywords to see if it fits the Toyota RAV4 FITCAMX camera, hopefully this helps out. One of the other reviews shows rainbow coloring in the picture, but that is caused by the windshield itself and not the polarizing filter.

I was a bit skeptical about buying this but I knew there was a glare on my camera from the dashboard. This model was confirm with Fitcamx so I decided to give it a try. I admit, this thing removed the glare off my dash and I could read the license plate that was about 20 feet in front of me and about 8ft off center (my car in the garage). Easy to install, just peel off the double-sided tape and stick. I think this is only worth $15, nothing over $25. So I'll give this product a thumbs up and the Fitcamx works beautifully as a factory look!
