FUBAR out of the box
I needed a new gaming laptop. This deal was too good to pass up.When I received the computer I noticed it was taking a long time to boot up and that I was unable to validate the Windows installation.I emailed the company and they were very helpful and after a couple of back and forth emails they sent me a valid Windows key.I then dug into the computer to find out why it was booting so slow. I had previously owned an Alienware 17R4 and knew it should boot faster than it was.I found that they had installed the OS on the mechanical drive and not the SSD. Thankfully I'm good enough around computers to know how to fix that problem.Once I had the computer booting from the SSD I now had to install all the drivers that the company had failed to install. If you've ever owned a Dell or Alienware computer you know there are some helpful utilities that should be installed on one.None of these support programs were installed on the computer as it came out of the box. Nor were a complete set of drivers for all the hardware installed. The Tobii Eye Tracking was not working out of the box so you could not use Windows Hello to log on to Windows. All in all it took me three days to get the laptop to where it SHOULD have been.My advice is to ONLY order this laptop if you're knowledgeable enough to make it RIGHT.

I should have known better than to save money by buying used.
Worked great for about a month. Then started freezing more and more regularly. I'm in the process of returning it because it won't even boot in safe mode any more.

Great laptop, best I’ve ever owned!
The only downside is is does tend to get hot. I have it on a 17”gaming fan from fry’s and I’ve never really had a problem tho just as a precaution. It’s heavy but I don’t travel with much the most is from the office to the bedroom or kitchen so it don’t t bother me. I’ve played all I have at max res and I get great FPS on every game. Odyssey looks amazing on here btw
