Do not buy this item. It is an M42 to Nikon F manual adapter that supposedly allows for infinity focus.M42 lenses need a closer flange to the image plane for the Nikon F series cameras, and the "optic" supplied with this adapter is supposed to compensate for that.It does not.It does not come even close. I tried it on numerous M42 lenses that focused well on my Canon cameras with an M42 to EOS adapter, and the Nikon adapter doesn't even get me to 6 or 8 meters.DO NOT BUY!

i bought this because i thought it was allow infinity focus on my d700. the glass element should correct for the flange distance, but on closer inspection its just a plain piece of glass and not a correcting element. get the fotodiox version instead.

They say this adapter worklks with the zent helio lenses it fists to mount but does not work with the aperture adjustment. So I feel it is falsely advertised. Also the material is trash arrived scratch and more paint peeled as I mounted the lens. It's not work buying. There are way better products.
