Great Quality Pick and Hook Set — Matches the Pry Bars Perfectly
This Tekton pick and hook set is another great example of why I keep buying Tekton’s USA-made hand tools. The quality is very similar to their mini pry bar set, which I also own. In fact, in the video I uploaded, I showed both sets because I actually bought two of these hook sets — that’s how much confidence I have in them. The handles are the same comfortable Tekton design: long enough to fit well in your hand, with good grip and control compared to other brands that make smaller, harder-to-hold versions. The picks themselves are sharp, precise, and strong. The variety of angles (straight, 45°, 90°, compound, etc.) gives you the perfect tool for seals, clips, o-rings, electrical connectors, and any tight spot where you need accuracy. What I like most is that the tips are tapered and sharp without feeling flimsy, and the shank design resists twisting, so they don’t feel like they’ll snap under light pressure like some cheaper brands. The overall construction really shows that Tekton pays attention to usability, not just looks. If you already own their pry bar set, this pick and hook set feels like a natural companion — same quality, same durability, and made in the USA. Highly recommended.

Good
These are nice. I try to buy USA when possible. However, they aren’t much different than the cheap hardware store sets for significantly cheaper. But they seem durable, look and feel nice, and are stamped USA so I’m not upset about it. Will buy Tekton made in USA products again in the future.

Quality Pick and Hooks
These picks are basically impossible to bend (without heat ofc) and they super sharp and make getting o-rings or stubborn seals out easy.

Great Pick, Great Company - US Made
This TEKTON pick tool is well made in the USA! I've had good luck with TEKTON tools, so when I saw their US made picks it was a no brainer. It's just thick and strong enough to do the job and it doesn't bend and have to be straightened like the Chinese pick it replaced. I recently sent photos of a broken, several year old, TEKTON tool to their warranty site and was surprised to see a replacement ship immediately. There were no questions asked or runaround. And they didn't ask for the tool to be returned (on my dime!) like Channellock. Go TEKTON!!

Great quality, good feel...I have a bunch of these
I love these mini picks from Tekton. I bought the 5pc set the first day they released them and have added several over the last couple years. The handles are very well finished and sized large enough so that you can get a decent grip compared to typical mini picks, but they will not fill a hand (I wouldn't mind if they had the same shape but shortened the length by an inch). They're glass-filled nylon just like their 6-in-1 drivers - high quality (and they will drill/sand/glue just great if you want to modify them). The steel is great quality, too - doesn't deform like cheese and none of mine have broken yet. I'd put these up there with Ullman (old Ullman). I like this compound loop for o-rings - dulled the tip just a small amount but not "blunt" like their second line of these tools.

So far so good
I haven’t used it yet. I’ve gone through a lot of hook tools over the years. I’ve yet to find a great one at a good price. At first glance it looks great! I like the handle way more than most others out there. I saw someone complaining about it not being chrome plated. But many of these tools are just pot metal hiding under chrome plating. This one is steel and sticks to a magnet at least. Going to put it to the test and see how it holds up.

Great tool!
Picks are meant for light-duty jobs, but they have multiple uses and sometimes get abused or ruined when they’re helping you get out of a situation. The MAC is an import that costs $25 and comes with a lifetime warranty. The Tekton costs $5 and is made in the USA. Some might say, “It’s a MAC, it must be made here in America.” Nope—tool manufacturers are very proud to stamp Made in USA on their tools and packaging. If a tool has even one imported part or component, they legally can’t make that claim. The Tekton is also higher quality and has a larger handle for more leverage and has a Snap-On feel to it. It’s only a pick and not that serious, but I just love tools and will end up buying the whole set. I give it two thumbs up 👍🏽👍🏽

Perfect For Tight Spots
I bought this as a replacement for one that I lost. It has been a very handy tool for a number of things. Manipulating wires in a connector, or depressing the release tab are a couple of things I used it for often. This brand held up better than others because the shaft is anchored into the handle, and will not twist. I also have other Tekton tools which hold up well. Put one of these in your tool box. You may be surprised how often you use it!
