The shorter Barbie-pink side is to remove make-up, and the longer white side is for cleansing and exfoliating. They are trimmed in a soft, light pink lining, and have a nice hook for hanging up.All you need is water, and these cloths remove lipstick, eye make-up and even most mascaras easily! My tween daughter loves these, we've been rotating through them this tech week. They are machine washable, with the tag reading 140° (hot) and to not dry; though I tossed them in with our other towels, and then line-dried, and they are holding up really well!Definitely worth having for dance bags or traveling! These are such soft, effective cloths for removing makeup without the use of soap. Just add water to one of these cloths, and gently remove every trace of makeup, including mascara! I don't use waterproof mascara, so I can't speak to how these work with that product. For my daily makeup routine, these are luxurious and effective. Highly recommend!
