Does this remove mold or just the mold smell?

Thanks for your question. Yes, ozone can kill mold and remove the smell. However, the max ozone output of B50 is only 50mg/h, which means it will take much longer to kill them. Please clean up the surface with mold first, then close doors and windows and run the unit. Does this produce negative ions

This produces ozone which is different from negative ions. You can stay in a room with a device that produces negative ions; whereas,. you cannot stay in a room with one that generates ozone (O3). This particular unit generates a lot of ozone for its size and price. I used it to finally clear out the lingering smell of cigarette smoke in a used car I bought 18 months ago.

How long until you can re-enter a room after running?

Please do not leave this unit running all the time. There are OSHA limits for exposure to ozone, as little as 0.3 ppm. Please listen to the other comment and open the windows and wait 30 min before coming back to the room, especially if you have ever had respiratory problems/asthma/etc.
