It does not matter if you have Presta or Schrader values on your tubes. This CO2 inflator connects to both values super easy. Put the CO2 insulator sleeve over the cartridge and screw the cartridge into the inflator and you are ready to inflate. For the Schrader valve, thread the valve onto the inflator as far as it will go and press the inflator button. Voila! Tube is inflated.For a Presta valve, pretty much the same process. Slide the inflator over the valve and screw it down to make a firm seal and press the inflator button. Bam! Tire is inflated.If you've never used C02 cartridges before, you will quickly understand why this kit comes with an insulator sleeve. When expelling the gas, the cartridge gets cold really fast. You will appreciate the forethought of the sleeve really quick.I still carry a frame pump with me just in case I run out of CO2 cartridges while I'm out, but this is a great kit to have with you. It packs easy in your saddle bag with all your other accessories.

Product does not take much room it the emergency bike kit. Does a great job and better than caring a pump for emergency tire prepares. Great value.
