Aside from the Bird sounding submerged and a portion of trim above the drowning bird was loose,understand this is not a 6 or 7 hundred item but with extra care and thought could have been a great deal

I really wanted to like this clock. It was good sized, kept the time accurately and was fun to have an hourly cuckoo. However, I had to return the clock because the pendulum would not work consistently. It was not working more often then it did. This was the main reason I returned the clock. The cuckoo sound had the main cuckoo and then an additional echo cuckoo. I would of preferred to not have the echo. The cuckoo aounded very recorded which was a little bit of a turn off, but for the price I was ok with it. It was nice that it had a sensor that turned the cuckoo sound off when there was not any light in the room

Wow. This clock is absolutly amazing. The pictures do not do this clock any justice. It came packed in 2 boxes. I opened the first and saw the second box. I thought to myself that this was going to be a gag clock. A box within a box....As soon as i openned the second box i knew I hit the lottery. The wood working details are beautiful. The varnish is perfect. There are no brush marks. The smell of wood was fantastic. When you pull it out of the box it only gets better. I know that my mother is going to love this gift. I highly recommend this to anyone that is looking for that purfect wall piece. For the price I paid i thought that it was going to be a small clock. Man was I wrong. Thank you to who ever made this. Keep up the great work. You really know what you are doing.

Good big size, excellent quality and beautiful! I bought this as a replacement for an identical clock made by Kassel, so I knew what to expect as I loved my Kassel clock! This is a different manufacturer. The clock itself is identical but the cuckoo sound is different. This cuckoo has a more watery sound. In fact... it sounds like a waterfall and overwhelms the cuckoo sounds somewhat. Still and all I looove my clock... and it is an excellent buy price-wise for this quality. Quartz makes it easy to maintain. Nothing to oil, nothing to wind or pull! A solid quality clock that will endure.

It was a pleasant surprise when we received ours. The intricate detail... beautiful! The pictures on Amazon didn't compare to seeing it in person. It was slightly challenging to figure out how to sync the time and the amount of cuckoos for am & pm.

this was poorly built. Yes it works. The noise it makes in herendous. It sounds like a dying chinese plastic toy that was made by 100 tiny chinese hands... this is such a waste of money and should not be even sold as a clock with any class.
