Worth it
Exceeded expectations! Looks great obviously if youre going to do something like this you will have to fabricate a holding bracket. But for 30$ this little screen is crystal clear and works perfectly

good bang for buck, basic display that looks good, sharp
Annoyingly the instructions and the PCB both reference the touchscreen capability, but this display does not have such! Granted the description on Amazon did not mention it and for the price of less than thirty-five I would not assume it would. I do, however, find it frustrating to see it still present on the silkscreen and instructions. The included instructions are both OK and lacking. If you are going to utilize their instructions to install the LCD-show library then I suggest you simply go to their github page and follow the instructions there instead of what is included on paper.I found that the screen worked just fine out of the box on a RasPi3B and looks very nice. I also like that the bezel is a nice matte black and there are good mounting tabs for making this an inset display. It would be very good for a portable cyberdeck/retropie/etc built into a good case. For the price under forty bucks it’s just a basic get the job done well display. The one problem I could foresee is the backlight control buttons are rather small and located across the top edge. This may make access to them problematic depending on your installation. Of course if you’re doing a custom install it would not be hard to simply solder on extensions to place the buttons somewhere else on a facade.Minor improvements could be made to button location, port configuration (for easier management in an enclosure, and better written instructions for RasPi. Otherwise it’s bright, it’s crisp, and it gets the job done for a good price!

Terrific buy, great for a secondary in case screen
Mounted it in my PC case (see picture) and it works fantastic as a secondary screen. While I wouldn't want to use it for any great deal of time, it is fantastic for stats, solitaire or to use when needing to diagnose a pc problem and a regular screen isn't available or not practical. It is fairly sharp, HDMI, came with mounting brackets and runs from USB. Great buy.

I use it for OctoPi
I've gotten my kids into 3d printing and wanted something to keep them up to date on their prints. This screen was exactly what I needed and it works great. My kid's get updates and I don't have a broken tablet from them running all around with it. It mounted well to a little 3d printed case I made and works great for my use case. It's got good brightness and resolution for me.

Clear, crisp project screen, no connection issues
Its a nice little screen for project use - bright and clear. Its plug and play on Windows. For the Pi 5, there are both internet connected driver instructions, and manual instructions in case you don't have internet access on the Pi. The PC seller's photos are a little misleading - you need 2 cables to the monitor. Power, and HDMI. If you don't need a touch screen for your project, this one will serve you well.
