Easy to set up and it secures onto a screwed wall bracket. It’s a snug fit and doesn’t budge or wobble in it’s bracket. The app is user friendly and I like how you can get this up and running with zero extra costs. There are paid options, but they’re not necessary in my opinion. Videos sit for 48h before they’re erased and in this time, they can be shared or downloaded.Picture quality is great both during the day and at night. Images are clear and the angle is enough to get a good viewing area.Doorbell button is hard to miss and the chime is loud to be heard throughout my house.My only niggle is the battery life is quite short and so this needs to be constantly charged weekly. The motion detector is also very sensitive, but I’ve remedied this by keeping it at a very low setting.Overall, nothing short of the quality you’d expect from Swann. Good picture quality, reliability, and essential if you’d like added security. I’d be happy to recommend.

With the benefit of hindsight, would I buy this again? No - categorically no. It has some really strong points, the app, the AI assistant, the video quality.The problem is that it has a huge problem; the battery life. In fairness I live in a high traffic area, but I’ve turned the motion detection sensitivity to zero, and I’m still only getting a week or so between charges - really not acceptable, especially at this price. On the whole I’m disappointed.

The recording and image quality is very good both day and night. It can transmit two-way audio like other normal video doorbells and I usually direct people coming for cargo. It is very easy to install and use. It seemed a little expensive at first for its price, but when compared to others, I think it is worth its money in terms of its features. It is better when you disable the motion detection because people pass by the house a lot. The installation needs to be done in more blind spots.

Let's start with things I don't like about this video doorbell. First thing, is the shape of the video it records. I understand that this is a fish eye lens and there will be some distortions but it is not the distortions I am complaining here. The edges are rounded because the camera is so wide it sees the rim of its case. Wouldn't be a better idea to put the lens slightly outwards so the camera will see more area the closest to the camera. Or just make the video feed Square or rectangular? Sure if someone is standing right at the doorbell this person will be seen technically from head to toes. Maybe it is just me but it is slightly not my way of viewing videos.Also, the app asuch as it works great and the functionality and setting are easy to set up and navigate around it has some little glitch. The glitch is when someone rings this video doorbell it shows up on the screen of my phone as someone is calling. It takes few seconds to connect which is fine as sometimes the mobile reception is not too great but it connects and I can see who that is. So far so good. However, after few minutes when I hung up and close the app I keep getting the call even when nobody is calling the doorbell. It doesn't call the chime but it only appears ony phone. Fairly scary after the sunset I must say.Except these everything works perfectly well. The doorbell looks very good with nice shape and central positioned call button that lights up when it senses the movement. I like that you can select built in commands that the doorbell can say to the person at the door. There are polite requests as well as strong commands for any unwanted intruders.The night vision is good and overall image quality is fantastic. It is apparently 4k resolution but it doesn't look that good in my opinion and I thing it is because of the fish eye lens.Chime is fairly loud and I can hear it all over my house easily. I like that it is battery operated and I can put it anywhere in the house and move it if necessary.The motion sensor is very sensitive. I got it at 20% at the moment and it is enough for me. However, the exclusion zones where it shouldn't sense anything they don't work that well. It still detects cars and people on the pavement even though I excluded those parts.Battery life: with this small device the battery lasts for about 1-2 weeks depending how many times it detects movements etc. Not bad but not great either but comparable with other similar video doorbells. You can hardwire it but you need (preferably) an electrician to do it. The charging port is at the back so you have to unscrew the tiny little safety screw that is very easy to lose and take it out from the bracket. Shame it doesn't have any port outside so I could connect some solar panel to it to extend the battery life.It doesn't need subscription to work as it was intended which is fantastic. It also have AI voice assistant included for free. You buy an extra plan for it to get extra cloud storage, extended warranty and some other things but main functionalities are for free.Overall, I like it very much so far and after few weeks of changing setting and sensitivity it finally works as I wanted to (sort of:) ) . I am very pleased so far and definitely worth it.

I have previously had a ring doorbell so I was interested to see what a swann doorbell is like.The doorbell was easy to set up- simply drill a base plate into the position that you want it, then clip the doorbell on top. You download the swann app and register the doorbell which takes 2 minutes and it is ready to go. The best thing is that you do not have to pay any monthly subscription. Recordings are kept on the app for 48 hours and in this time you can save to camera roll, as well as share. The footage is clear and it isn’t too sensitive at picking up motion.I feel like the view isn’t as wide as the ring, so you don’t see quite so much in that respect, however the picture quality is much clearer.Another great thing is you get a chime (as well as batteries!!) included in the box, which can cost a fair bit more with other brands.

This doorbell with motion detection is very good quality.It has two ways audio and can be used inside and outside of the house.This company is known for it's high quality products and I am so very happy with it.For a long time we have used a different doorbell but we are so happy that we can use this one now.I absolutely love the AI ability to answer when we are not at home and can't answer the door.This is a great automatic camera doorbell that I can highly recommend to you.
