Full Horizontal Hardware Kit

For the price, this kit seems to rival the more expensive ones that I have looked at. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow, plus the cutouts come pre-cut on thick paper. Using this hardware kit and buying your own lumber can save you hundreds of dollars on the Murphy bed overall!

Sent back as it looked very complicated and with no kit you would need to cut out many many pieces of wood yourself.

The parts are there. They work and seem to be of decent quality. If you want a Murphy bed at a good value you're pretty much going to have to do it yourself. However, this is not a beginner project. Not by a long shot. If you are patient and have persistence and want to watch a lot of Youtube you can probably figure it out. But there is a lot to it and a lot riding on it (a heavy piece of furniture hanging off your wall). This will push you in the right direction but you'll have to do a lot of learning to take this project home. Keep that in mind and buy it if you're ready!

This Murphy bed was priced competitively and arrived complete and as expected. It also arrived earlier than expected! Costumer service was good and helpful.

I have emailed them to ask questions as they stated to do so in the manual. I haven't heard back and it is going on a week since I reached out. The manual does not give specifics on lumber material or a good reference cutting guide.

The materials thus far seem to be of quality; however, these are probably among the worst sets of instructions I have ever seen. Technical writing is a lost art. The company should turn these instructions and a kit over to a non-experienced carpenter and someone who has not assembled one before, and see the multiple weaknesses in the instructions. I ended up spending much more than I should have on materials, including wood, due to unclear and inaccurate instructions.

It had everything I needed. Exactly how it was described.
