The 4.5 cfm vacuum pump works very well and cost less than I would pay for the acrylic lid alone. It arrived with a charge of oil in a separate bottle, no leaks. The instruction manual is in “Chineglish”, ie “from the oil-outing mouth” but its generally understandable. The fitting matched the one on my chamber hose.I am able to reach over 28 inHG , as specified, quickly and with no effort. On checking other reviews, I noticed that in one 1-star comment with a video, the valve to the chamber was closed, so it’s not surprising they got no vacuum! The guy with the shattered lid must have been degassing a solvent.All in all, I am very pleased with this pump so far.

Runs pretty well. I can only get about -25 mmHg on avg. Without wrapping threads with teflon tape.The oil steam ventilation cap broke off from threads and I don't know where to get a new one.

The vacuum pump works quickly and is not too noisy. The only drawback is that it burns oil and has releases exhaust fumes which are quite noticeable. Best to exhaust the fumes to outside.

I used this to service the AC systems on vintage cars. Originally I bought it to use one time on my vintage mustang but it worked so well I kept using it on other cars. I’ve now used it 4-5 times and each time it provided great suction and worked fine. My only concerns are that the pump runs a little hot and the suction pump oil needs to be changed often. In fact I have been changing the oil in it before every use. I’m not sure how long it will last but for the price if I get a few uses from it it’ll pay for itself.

Excellente pompe Silencieuse et performante. J'aurai appréciés avoir différents adaptateurs pour pouvoir brancher d'autres types de tuyaux et un manomètre de sous vide aurait été très apprécié. Pour le moment je suis très satisfait du produit. Voyons s'il résiste au temps!
