They feel strong, the laces have volume, i.e. They feel full of material.Hopefully they will last on my steel toe ssafety shoes, my ALDI laces lasted two years!If these hav no broken after six months, I will have some more. You always need a spare pair at hand after all.UPDATE: still as new despite lots of use over 4 months, very good
