In the Breeze5048 Spectrum Koi Fishsock - Colorful Rainbow Koi Fish Windsock - 24-Inches, 2-Feet

I purchased this windsock for performance purposes, to string with lights and fly on the end of a bamboo pole. Unfortunately, it did not satisfy my needs for two main reasons:1) The description says it's 5', but in reality it's nearly half a foot shorter (mine measured 54" at the longest part) so the overall scale was smaller than expected.2) The material it's made of feels stiff and crunchy, almost like a translucent shower curtain, NOT the soft flowy type of nylon that kites/windsocks/flags are typically made of.I gave it 3 stars because it's probably just fine if you want a simple decoration, hung up on a porch or wherever; it just doesn't have a nice "feel" at all when moving around in the wind, flopping awkwardly more than flowing gracefully, which really does not work for my intended use.Ultimately, I decided to return this one, and purchase a different brand koinobori from another seller: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003Y5WELG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ...which is a much better product for my needs! Made of nice soft kite fabric, with a wider mouth, and measures 59" as advertised. (Note that this one does not include a clip/swivel or come in rainbow, though, if either of those things are important to you! But it's really easy to get your own clips/swivels, just check the fishing section of your local sporting goods store.)

I love having windsocks in my yard. I put up seasonal ones and use them year after year. This time I wanted something different for the summer. I just took it down to put up my Halloween windsock and was shocked at the condition! It was shredded in places and it was nearly ripped completely through at the ring where it was attached. In CA in the Bay Area, we have mild weather so that is not the blame. It is not made out of the nice strong fabrics that other windsocks are made from.

I love this windsock, it brightened up my back yard and makes me smile every time I look at it. I wanted something that was at least a few feet long, this is 5 feet. It's waterproof, brightly colored, and well made. It surpassed my expectations and is a wonderful addition to my yard.

I am only giving three stars for durability and sturdiness because I don’t know how well the koi will last now that it’s hanging in my back yard. It is beautiful, the colors are so pretty, and it feels like it’s made from a decent quality nylon. I have a feeling that the colors will fade significantly once it’s exposed to the extreme summer sunlight, but for now I am enjoying it quite a bit. It’s pretty, it’s colorful, the koi is what I was hoping it would look like when I ordered it.

This is the third 8' koi kite we've purchased. The first was made of a heavier, more durable fabric than the last two, and it lasted outside for quite some time. It's replacement was just as attractive, but the fabric was of lesser strength and quality, so it only lasted 3 months before it completely fell apart. The most recent one is made like the second one, darn, so I imagine it will will have a rather short lifespan., too. If it does, this maybe the last one we purchase.

We have flown ours for 2 years in full summer sun, winter snow and mountain winds up to 50 miles per hour. It never came loose! It has only faded slightly and the tail hit the top of our metal roof so many times in the wind storms that it has begun to fray. Other windsocks and mobiles have to be taken down during the windstorms or they end up blown all over the yard. This one twists and sways in the wind beautifully. We are getting a new one and gifting one each to our adult children for their homes.

vibrant colors, well made, used as windsock in garden, flies beautifully. like that it is made in usa/Oregon.12/16: nine months later, this is as nice as the day we bought it to hang off our back porch. has taken a LOT of wear and tear being batted around through a long hot summer (full sun) AND a hurricane -- colors are still vibrant and not a thread out of place.i dont normally do updates, but thought about it when passing by on the way in, i like it so much, it really deserves one. a good thing when what u buy turns out to be so well made!

This is a very high-quality windsock. I have mine on a telescoping pole, and it flies over my koi garden.

My other half was delighted. Very vibrant co,ours and looks great in our garden.

Although this windsock is pretty, it's fabric is too heavy and the mouth is too small to catch enough wind to inflate adequately. I live in a very windy place, yet this mostly just flaps around like a flag without any inflation. I wouldn't recommend this product.

I love the size and colours of this windsock fish. I've had it hanging outside now for over a year and it still looks brightly coloured. It is still in great condition...very durable item for our 4 seasons of weather.

We think this rainbow fish is perfect for the cell antenna on our sailboat! We bring him indoors when we're not out, so I hope he lasts for a long time. I think I'll make a better hook/fastner so we don't lose him in windy conditions!!

Beautiful, colourful yuzen-goi koinobori. The fabric seems sturdy, the design is very well printed on it. I'm quite happy with my purchase.
