CHAMP

Such a sweet story! This author wrote beautifully about the struggles we can face when we are different. Champ the adorable purple turtle and his friend Lizzie go through quite a transformation when they learn that differences only matter if you let them matter. This book offers tremendous support to those with Champ 1 but it also will be a comfort to anyone one feel "different".

Thank you for not only writing this, but adding a dedication to all of the kids with Champ1!My son is 12 but we read this book almost every night.There are some sprinkled and age appropriate ways of explaining Champ1 -Just the right amount for this sort of picture book and in a subtle way that kids might not pick up on all of it but the adults will. Great job! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

What an absolutely precious book! The story is so sweet and the artwork really brings it to life. I’ve enjoyed reading this to my daughter and hope it will help her to grow into a kind little girl who will extend kindness to others!

Wonderfully written, and my Champ loves to read it. He's carried it with him since it arrived.
