You are purchasing a single lancing device, not a "kit", as no lances are included. My experience has been that the spring tension can vary from one device to another, and you should adjust the depth to match where on your finger you are lancing. Further down the finger between knuckles tends to have fewer nerve endings and plenty of blood. The lances can be wiped with your alcohol prep pad and used again which cuts down on cost and is perfectly safe if you are careful. If you need instructions and lancets, consider purchasing an entire kit at discounted pricing. Don't gripe to Amazon if you have issues with a product. Go directly to the manufacturer and they will likely endeavor to make you a satisfied customer for the long run. Diabetic supplies are BIG business, and they want yours!

My previous lancet device stopped working so I grabbed this one as I still had tons of lancets and needed one that fit those. Works great and you can adjust how deep the needle goes which is great!

This device performs much better than my previous one from Bayer. One can optimize the depth of the poke and it is easier to get the lancet out after using it. I use it on 2 with excellent results.

Product function OK. But thought it was from Ascensia however it's NOT, just a generic in a plastic bag, NO Ascensia box as in the picture... Took 9 days to deliver (10/08-17), more expensive,
