I have an old truck that didn’t come factory with CarPlay or even Bluetooth. I installed an aftermarket Sony unit with CarPlay and have been using it for a long time, but I was always slightly annoyed having to plug my iPhone in to use it. So, I thought I’d take my chances with this little adapter, and to my delight, it worked immediately!PROS:- Small and unobtrusive size allows use of nearby ports- Pleasing appearance- Easy set up with helpful user manual- Reconnects automatically within seconds of starting the car (after initial setup)- No negative impact to audio quality when compared to a cable connectionCONS:- 1 to 2 seconds of audio delay, noticeable mostly when hitting play/pauseOverall, I am completely satisfied with this purchase, and I would recommend it to anyone who has aftermarket wired CarPlay.

I was thinking out loud as to WHY I have to keep plugging in my iPhones in the car to connect! I thought there has to be something that works off of BlueTooth for the car - after all, we 'connect' with everything else wireless! So I went to my favorite shopping store AMAZON, did a search and BOOM this wireless CarPlay Adapter came up - I bought it! I was a little worried about "how to connect" but it was so easy, I didn't even have to view the video! This is exactly what I wanted (and needed) and it works great! I'm very pleased to recommend this adaptor because it works!

I’ve been using this CarPlay adapter for about few months now, and overall, I’m pretty happy with it. Setup was surprisingly easy — just plug it in, pair it via Bluetooth, and within a minute or two, CarPlay was up and running wirelessly. It connects automatically when I start the car, which is super convenient.The responsiveness is generally good — there’s a tiny bit of lag sometimes, especially when launching heavier apps like Maps or Spotify, but it’s nothing deal-breaking. I’ve also noticed occasional glitches where the audio briefly cuts out or it disconnects randomly once every few days. A quick unplug and replug usually fixes it, but it’s a bit annoying on longer drives.All in all, this adapter does what it promises. It’s a big upgrade from plugging in my phone every time I get in the car. If the occasional bugs get ironed out in a future firmware update.

Didn’t like how I had to plug in my iPhone in order to activate CarPlay in my 2019 GMC Sierra pickup. A friend mentioned using a wireless adapter to circumvent having to plug in.Purchased this wireless adapter and couldn’t be happier with the results. Very simple setup (just plug it into an open port) & follow the set up instructions to pair your iPhone with the adapter…that’s it! Have been using it for awhile now and have had no issues whatsoever, my entertainment system automatically connects to CarPlay on startup allowing me to access all of my CarPlay features.

Previously had a adaper that was big and has a cord so it was very bulky - on top of that my carplay would randomly stop playing music every 30 secs or so. It was so frustrating that I had to look for another adapter.This adapter checks all the boxes - small and compact and it plugs directly into the USB port which saves a lot of room. The inital setup was pretty straight forward and once it's all done then the phone connects to the carplay very fast everytime the car is started. The upmost important thing was that music is playing with no pause anymore.

Item arrived on time and was easy to setup and use. Simply plug the device into your vehicle’s USB port and go! There is a syncing process that takes place and it is ready to use. Pro tip: remove your phone device from your vehicle’s bluetooth. The reason for this, at least in my case was that my phone was connecting to the vehicle’s bluetooth first and thus requiring a connection switch. Now it instantly connects and all the Car Play features are available to use on command. Great product and Highly Recommended!

I got this in Dec 2024, and writing this review in May 2025. After having it for 6-moths I would recommend it. I would give it 5 stars but there are quirks which I am not sure are from my Mazda infotainment or form CarPlay or from the product. The quirks are that sometimes GPS forgets where I am and I have to wait a minute for it to locate me to start navigation, but somehow this stopped in the last month. Every once in a while (once every three weeks or so) it does not work and I have to unplug and plug again. Otherwise it functions well, In fact, somehow it works better than the cable (yes that does make sense). Like I said not sure what the source of the quirks are.
