We were suffering a brown tinge to our pond water and found out this is called Tannis, like a cup of tea before adding the milk! Standard filters were having no impact on the colour of the pond water as they are not fine enough. Purchased this large sheet and cut it to fit into a sieve which was then place on the inlet pipe in the filter box meaning ALL water going through the filter must pass through this as well. Cleaned daily in the first couple of weeks at which point we started to notice a difference in the water colour. 2 months later and pond remains clear again so its worked for us.Pleased with purchase and job job it was purchased to do

Just drilled 12 8mm holes on a takeaway container added gravel to weight it down and cut a piece of filter fabric 2x size of the container. Works perfectly filtering the pump fountain is now better and higher works really well

Filter floss is the only part of my aquaria filter media that I occasionally replace. This is good value and will last me a long time.
