Encased iPhone Charger Dock, Fast Charge Desktop Charging Stand (case Compatible) DockMate² MFI Certified Lightning Charger (Fully Adjustable Design) (Aluminum Black)

I thought this dock would rely on weight to provide a stable holder for an iPhone or iPad, and it does have weight to it. But it also has one of those washable sticky pads on the base, that really sticks the dock like a limpet to your desk. It is not a permanent adhesive, just a sticky pad that allows you to remove your phone or iPad, without needing to hold down the dock while you pull the device off the lightning connector. It works really well. The thumbwheel at the back of the dock, raises and lowers the lightning connector, to compensate for cases of different thicknesses. Again, this feature works well. I hate lying my devices on my desk when backing them up, and having lightning cables all over the place. I have a separate wireless charging holder for my phone while working at my desk. But the Galvanox dock provides a very smart, stable cradle while I am backing up my phone or iPad. It also reminds me not to disconnect my devices while they are on this dock. The build quality is excellent, and the Galvanox dock would compliment even the poshest of desks.

I have one of these chargers, under a different manufacturer name, I'm not sure where they get the Aluminium Black from, its quite clearly plastic for the most part.The grey pad is made of rubber that stops the phone sliding about, works well in that respect.Mine broke after a few months, the tilting mechanism to cater for different thicknesses of phones, I had to super glue the tilt part and it still works okay.
