This book was electrifying and intense, but oh so good! In this new, dark, age-gap billionaire romance from Alta Hensley, she really amped up the volume on my comfort zone, in the most delicious and dirty way! I don't want to go over the book description in which the author does a great job of warning you what's to come. I would rather tell you all the reasons for my rating, so here goes:---Age-gap, forbidden love---Father's best friend romance---Fabulously broken characters---Intense primal play---Scorching smexy times--- Well-written, fantastic flow, and no errors noted.All within a wonderfully developed world, an actual story with a plot, and the most intricately developed characters. A world of heathens at play! I definitely recommend this book for only mature readers, and please check trigger warnings.

Want a book about a young women who secretly pines after her dead fathers bff , say no more because this is the book for you ! Locke and Storee journey to their relationship unfolding was not what either expected but both secretly Hoped for. The spice was good , loved the raw use of Primal Play in this book . The overall story was good I feel like some areas were lacking a little character wise but overall I enjoyed this read and would recommend it.

3.75 this was a good read. Age gap, stalker MMC, forbidden love. The only reason I didn't give it 4 stars is it felt like there were some gaps in the actual story line. It started off super strong, but overall I enjoyed the fast paced story and the smut was smutting.

I did not think it was linked at first until I read the Baldwin names! It was a great read and the story was so detailed and it had a balance of intrigue, small town dark vibes and a hotter than heck love between this Couple! It starts right out with a mystery and I never would have guessed the outcome of that tale! There’s a club for the darkest of tastes, a safe but very hedonistic hunt that is totally consensual and a stalker that’s an Alpha who is in over his head with this independent woman! He has watched over her and it gets twisted and crazy but hey it’s a dark stalker romance right?😈 So get the shower ready and start reading! Alta Hensley has done it again and I love it!

The premise itself is great- an island that is known for old kinky traditions also has its own dark secrets. I was intrigued from the prologue and stayed intrigued for most of the story. I liked the MC and her mysterious Hunter. It didn't disappoint in the spice. Will be reading the sequel for sure!

Great read, great storyline, phenomenal chemistry. For those who adore primal play, Alpha males, and strong but secretly submissive females, this is a read you will certainly enjoy. I'm not usually one for age gap but this was too outstanding a read for me to even care. Bravo. I am diving into the next.

Hmmm if this book was a cup of coffee I order, I would have sent it back. As I didn’t get a dark cup of coffee with depth and bite I received a General Foods International French VANILLA Cafè. The book had potential, but that potential was spoiled by an author who I assume has never read a dark romance. This doesn’t even address the fact that the main male character owns a sex club. LOL. Plus the ADHD mind of both characters who couldn’t even keep their inner monologues remember. Chapter 30 killed the book for me as the contrived angst just didn’t work, as the female main character had already eluded to figuring out who the hunter was in the previous chapters. Geez pay attention characters to your own story. There are so many fabulous author that can actually write dark, and don’t rely on a subtitle to hoodwink the readers.

The book was good. Mild on the sta1k3r, and not all that dark. I really struggle to understand the FMC. The dad's best friend issue was also a bit weak. Other than that, I enjoyed it! Wow! What a brilliantly written story by Alta! I adored Locke, smexy, older, slightly unhinged and possessive, but what a man!Storee was definitely tough, independent, and sassy.

I really liked this book till about 85% in the I've never wanted to dnf more. Skimmed the last 15% of the book.Do not get her logic, and she's a bit of a hypocrite. That kind of fmc to me isn't strong , just stubborn, which is a turn-off.Spice was goodEnjoyed the themes

This was an intense build up of a story that i could super intriguing and could fall into. I however would have like to have seen more explanation of the events in the last part of the book and ending.
