101 Great Science Experiments: A Step-by-Step Guide

Very useful Book

There is plenty of stuff to keep the kids engaged and was really happy to see that they put it to some use. The book only talks about the experiments and and not the science behind that, for which we need to rely on Google again. When the purpose of going for printed copies or books is to keep the kids away from Google, I didn't like the way the book makes us go back to Google for the explanations again, so deducting a star for that.

Anybody who has kids 7-15 knows that they get bored. But now with cellphones, they can play endless video games or waste their time on social media, both of which have become serious addictions like alcohol. Check out YouTube, Search: "Dopamine". The solution? A BOOK... like this. My kids fell in love with it, and it's kept me, as a parent busy getting the supplies needed to do the experiments. But, hey? What's being a parent all about except having fun with your kids? This book makes that a reality... and everyone learns a lot which is even more fun. Better than exercising your thumbs 10 hours a day playing stupid stuff on the internet.

Amazing product. Loved it. Their are lots of interesting experiments that can be easily performed at home. Also it contains some facts. Overall the book is fabulous! Thank you amazon for such a mind-blowing product.

The book is great but the copy I received from Amazon wasn't in the best state. The corners were folded and a little crumpled. So I'm a little disappointed.

Nice & Very Useful book for small children to learn about daily science activities & understand the science behind it. Very Nice Book to Give children as a Present..

Good book for experimenting but it bothers me finding my son gather or buy all materials. I bought this to help son to engage him into some work without bothering me. But it bothers me more. Buy this only if your child is interested working on science experiments themselves.

Had many great showable experiments for the kids as well as many experiments perfectly doable on their own with minor guidance. However, many experiments are either more of the same, or not practical. So 4 out of 5 for me.

This book is awesome! I have a 5 year old that is really into being a scientist. So this book was an amazing gift for her. We have had lots of fun with the experiments and a fair number of the experiments take every day items so they are easy to do on the fly. Each section of the book is broken down into things like sound, light, gases ect. And each experiment comes with pictures and good instructions as well as an explanation as to why that particular reaction is happening. Can't recommend enough honestly. Great book and would buy again.

Bought it for my 4 year old, some good experiments in there for her and many more too advanced so should get decent usage for a few years

Quite simple experiments and the kids love it.
