I always thought about how much I'd love a hot water dispenser for camping trips that would be stainless on the inside and insulated on the outside. I've never come close to finding anything, until I found this beauty! I have a 5 gallon pot that I can use to boil water and then transfer it to this so it will stay hot throughout the day. I wanted something to use for washing hands or dishes, and also use to make hot beverages without having to stop to boil water for every task. It was very important to find something that was steel instead of plastic, because the idea of drinking hot water that's been sitting in leachy plastic is not ideal. I am sure this will be on many adventures, because I love it already and it looks and feels built to last. The dispenser spigot is solid and not plastic, although it looks so from its shinyness in the pictures. The spring clasps also feel very solid and I love that the bars have grippy rubber on them for extra strength. They're not uncomfortable to open, either, where you have to even think about working up any amount of extra strength to do it, like some spring-loaded things. The handles are extremely solid and stay in a fixed (out) position when you move them. The whole unit was way more light than I imagined it from the pictures, but not in a way that it feels cheap, at all. I can't imagine having any problems lifting this do dump out water. I love the RELEASE PRESSURE button. It is a huge help when you need to dispense water faster. It's kind of delightful, actually, to just push that button and suddenly have a little more flow. The unit flows easily hands-free otherwise. The rubber seal is solid and the unit stays completely sealed with no problems. I added just some hot water from the kitchen sink to try out my camping setup, and the water stayed completely hot for several hours! I am SO thrilled with this product. I live for camping, and I'm so excited to enjoy it in the wild. I'm now considering the blue one next for cold water, since I am so impressed with the quality. Plus, they stack on top of each other. Bonus! Get one, and you will be happy!

I put a small bag of ice and 2 gallons of water in one of these. There was ice in it the next day even though I left it in the sun. The next day there wasn't ice, but it was still cold enough to make your hands hurt if you washed them under it.It even contains the water really well! I had it in the back of my truck for at least a 1.5 hr. drive, and none of the water leaked out! Those clamps and the gasket do a great job!I'm very satisfied.

Quality construction, exterior and stainless interior. however, the valve is ineffective and doesn’t allow for water to flow unless you unlatch the lid. Customer support is unresponsive both by the manufacturer and Amazon.

I like it. It is solid, keeps cold all day and is better balanced than the typical 5gal cooler. Only thing is that they advertise that spigot is metal... and that is true, sort of. The outside of the spigot is metal but the working parts are plastic and will fail before the rest of the thing will. Seems like a bad decision to chintz out on such a small part. It is already expensive, increase the price a couple of bucks and do a real spigot. If they had done all metal spigot it it would be a superb product. Also, seal on top is not water tight despite have a rubbery gasket and four tension clamps. So when full, careful of tilting as you'll get some dribbling. If I could I'd do 3.5 stars.

We are currently on our first camping trip with the water cooler and it has been wonderful so far. I assumed the product was full stainless steel so that was surprising when I opened the box. The exterior of the product is a heavy duty plastic, as is the lid. The interior of the product is a nice food grade stainless steel and the spout is also all stainless. There is a pressure release in order for the water to dispense quicker it works great. So far we are very pleased with this product. No leaking so far...

Wow was I please when this came. Bought for a party. I wanted stainless steel inside and spout for non toxins and no bacterial absorption like plastic or plastic taste. Easy to clean. When I ordered I figured the outside paint would eventually get scratched so happy and surprised to see when it came a durable non scratch outer to this. Keeps things gold long!! I absolutely love it’s stackable so I can have multiple kinds of drinks but not take up too much table space… so I seriously can’t wait to get a few more!!! The company sounds from reviews very helpful if help is needed. So glad I found this and didn’t settle for plastic no matter whose name is on it. This great quality will last a lifetime.

This is not our first purchase from Real Deal Steel, but this is our new favorite product! In fact, I can’t say enough postive things about this dispenser. We use it on our beverage cart at our golf course daily, so we certainly put it to the test. If you travel with this the seal will not keep the water in. It will leak from the water sloshing around. I would not recommend buying. Tried tightening the spigot it still leaks
