A nice little retro gaming console
This feels a lot like the monochrome Gameboy I owned as a child. What those lacked was a rechargeable battery, extra buttons, color screens, and a huge library preloaded onto it. The case does feel a bit cheap but it's solid enough to handle most school age children. My preteen nephew loves this thing and played it to the point where I just handed it over to him. Overall, it's a nice budget unit and keep the kids entertained for hours. Which makes it perfect for trips. It's cheap enough that if they break it, you aren't out a fortune. Overall, it's a nice retro gaming console. I didn't try hooking it to a TV as I didn't see the point. I suppose you could do it, but this is meant to be a portable.

Cute little device and a worthwhile trip down memory lane
These are all made by the same company and sold under different vendors but don't let that bother you. This is a very good toy for a younger kid or adult who wants to relive the old days without emulating stuff themselves. None of them have the amount of games advertised but there are plenty of games in here but a lot of junk ware student quality games too for padding. Also lots of repeats to hit the number quota and so far from my experience with 3 different units there is a mix of content in them and each has a unique offering of actual games rather then all of these having the same ones. It can be connected to a TV set but then you'd be stuck holding it 5 inches away from the rear ports so that isn't practical to speak of. All in all it makes a great gift for a young kid to experience some of the gems of the 8bit era of gaming!

It's Ok.
This unit isn't bad. You do get what you pay for. As an adult that LOVES Gaming, I find this convenient to play at the hospital in a waiting room or doctor's office while waiting or possibly in the car to pass some time. While playing a few games to test them out. I think the buttons are possibly to close to the LCD. Pressing the buttons to jump, kick or fire it started discoloring the LCD. The D-Pad is not as responsive. it works but sometimes has to press extra hard to get things to move. This is old school technology for Battery charging, wish it had a Type-C interface to charge the battery, but it doesn't, it has the old school android, I think if I recall it's called Micro USB.The LCD is just the right size for playing, got a high-volume output on it so no trouble hearing while playing the games.I did notice that there are several Duplicates of games on here, so you will get 400 Games. But several are duplicated so it's NOT 400 Different Games. I was hoping to find a Form of Super Mario Bros. on it but haven't had any luck yet, only tested so far about 25 games to make sure they worked. There is a vast variety of games on there.I'd highly recommend this for kids to play for the convenient of entertainment while in a Waiting room setting or wherever they need entertainment.

Pretty fun for small kids
I got this for my 3 year old son who was constantly taking my game controllers from me.He really enjoys it.It does have a lot of games on it, but they are kind of trash and I see a lot of duplicates of the same games. It's nice that there is a volume control wheel on the side that is easily accessable even when my son is holding it.The software is a little buggy, especially when the battery is very low.The battery last an acceptable amount of time, several hours. My son mostly just likes holding it and listening to the background music that the games play. It's pretty durrable because my son likes to throw pretty much all of his toys and this is still working, but I wouldn't expect it to work forever. It uses a old mini usb connector (not micro or usb-c), so don't lose the charging cable unless you still have some of the mini usb cables lying around somewhere.I would recommend this to anyone that has a small child that wants to play video games like the big boys but may be too young for an expensive gaming system. I would get a second one if this one breaks, so that is saying something.

So much fun!
This portable game console is a nostalgic treasure, loaded with 400 classic games that brought back fond memories from my childhood. The built-in buttons offer a satisfying tactile experience, making it a joy to play. My kids also had fun with it, although they found navigating through the game catalog a bit tedious since you have to scroll one page at a time—no small task with 400 games! The detachable, rechargeable battery is fantastic and lasts a long time, but the use of a micro USB charger is a drawback. With micro USB being outdated, losing the charging cable could make it tricky to find a replacement.Overall, it’s a surprisingly enjoyable device that’s worth picking up, especially if you’re a fan of retro gaming.

Get what you pay for
I'd pay this again to play some of the games. But there is not 400 games alot of them are duplicates and some just dnt work. Also had to bend battery prongs out just to get the to use the battery

Fun for what it is
This mini handheld is not going to compete with any similar looking emulator types out there. The unit comes pre-loaded with 400 games, but like all the other similar ones, only a handful are interesting, some are repeat copies, and some are obvious weird bootleg combos. That said the screen is actually bright and useable and the games that are of decent quality are still fun all these years later. The fact that you can connect it to a tv, or projector makes it a fun way to play some old school games without having to hook up your old console.

Just okay
The materials are made very cheap. The interface is just okay and several game repeats with slightly different game titles. In a bind, this is a great way to entertain the kids.
