It took a little while to get round to fitting this camera but once we had I found out that there was a problem with the dash cam as it kept randomly switching off. I tried resetting to factory settings, reformatting the memory card and resetting the camera itself but nothing worked so, as requested in the instruction booklet, I emailed the supplier. I had a reply within 24 hours and, after a couple more emails for more information, they said they would send me a completely new unit, which was received in about 4 days after initial contact. For the cost this is a good little dash cam, so is value for money. It was relatively easy to fit, although I decided I wanted the rear camera near the number plate rather than stuck in the back window, so that made it a little more awkward. It comes with some little wire clips that can stick to the window too which is good. I like the fact playback can be used through an app rather than having to mess around with the memory card. The reversing camera is useful too although it is a shame it stops recording when that function kicks in. All in all I'm pleased with it 👍🏻

Easy to set up and use, wide angle view is good.being able to view different screens with the touch of a button is another great feature. Only downside (I think for security reasons) is you have to switch on WiFi on the device every time it powers off to view settings and journey on the phone app Apart from that great device.

Excellent dash cam. Picture quality is superb and has an amazing wide angle so picks up just about everything. After buying one for myself, I have bought another for my parents and recommended it to several others

Yuld be useful to either put a 128GB memory card in it or SSontong should give you the option to buy one from them

For the price point, this dashcam is really good. However, as a product, there’s a long way to go and this leaves many things to be desired. Firstly, the video quality is only okay. 2K doesn’t really feel like 2K when there’s a lot of motion blur / camera shake caused by vibrations from the car / roads etc. When I switch to the 1080 mode, the change in quality is barely noticeable and it takes up a lot less storage space. The SD card that comes in the box is not large enough in terms of capacity. It’s only 32gb, and it gets filled up over just a few hours. This is nothing to do with the product, but just worth mentioning - invest in a separate card as I have done. The rear camera’s bracket / stand thing does not hold well at all. It’s slanted, not flush with the platform it’s stood on and you can’t adjust the side to side tilt - only the up/down tilt. You get a range of accessories and installation tools. I found these quite useful, and thoughtful from the supplier. Thanks for these. Lastly - the app is frankly the biggest pain point with this product. Like I said, it’s good value for money and does the job - so I don’t think about what it lacks UNTIL I have to use the app. There’s very little customisability. The wifi connection is incredibly slow (especially if your file sizes are 2k). The file naming is unintuitive and clunky. It takes ages to get a look at anything. And (with the 32gb) card, sometimes if you’re driving for a few hours by the time you stop to look at the app the videos already gone / overwritten. I think compared to other (non-budget) dashcams, there’s really too much to be desired in this area. Overall - great little dashcam and does the job, but only for the price. Next time I get a dashcam, I won’t be getting a budget option. I’d like better image quality, longer recording times, customisable information (ie speed etc), a better app and better build quality.
