This matcha is a great value. I often see 1oz go for about $20, so this is a much better price point. The matcha powder comes in a resealable bag which I also really like. Too often, they come in a foil bag but inside of a tin. While nice for gift giving, it is cumbersome to get the powder out without a small cloud poofing out. Since its summer out right now, I love making iced matcha lemonades. For me, I like to use 1/2 tsp to about 12 oz of water and then I use my drink whisk to quickly get everything mixed properly together. From there, I add a few splashes of lemon juice and top with ice. This is my go-to refreshing afternoon drink. I have 1-2 a day and I like to switch to matcha after I've had my coffee in the morning. I still get energy from the matcha but I lose the jittery feeling I'd be saddled with if I kept on drinking coffee. I highly suggest trying this matcha out.

This matcha is not as bright green as I would hope for something from Japan. It has decent flavor but is mostly bright and a sort of blank canvas. I suppose this makes sense as it is advertised for use in baking and other things where a deep complex flavor would be lost. I think this is fine for some basic drinks and cooking but it does lack the nuance that a standalone matcha drink would need for me.

You don't want to use your ceremonial grade matcha in a cooking or boba tea, but this Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder is excellent for exactly that. The flavor is enjoyable enough it adds that yummy matcha goodness to your creations, but not so delicate that you lament the fact you're not able to enjoy the subtlety of flavors. The resealable bag is excellent for long term storage and it makes a wonderful addition to my baking shelf.

I love green teas and this matcha powder is wonderful. I have made hot and cold drinks with this tea powder and the flavor is very much to my liking. My next adventure with this tea powder is to make onigiri (rice balls) that I saw on Amazon's website. Very very nice

Matcha is really good for you and makes a great latte. This is good quality matcha and the bag is resealable which is helpful

Very easy to make and tastes fresh and rich in flavor. I love how deep and smooth the taste is, it does taste luxurious and I'm surprised it's that good at this price range. It's not as strong as I personally before, but I still enjoy drinking it and will probably get more. I highly recommend giving it a try.

I like most coffee or tea beverages iced and with milk, and this matcha powder works extremely well in this formulation. One teaspoon of matcha powder to about a half cup of water and ice, blended with about 3/4 cup of milk, makes a delicious and refreshing beverage. It has a rich green tea flavor that is unique to good matcha, and doesn’t need sweeteners to be tasty to me. This packet has about thirty servings (one teaspoon per serving), and is a good value for a high-grade, quickly dissolving matcha powder.

Bayu Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder was disappointing. The directions say to mix it with water and I tried different water temperatures from 176 degrees to the mid-160's and amounts ranging from the recommended 1 tsp per 200 ml to half a tsp per 200 ml. Either the flavor (on the grassy side) was too mild to appreciate or the tea was bitter. I tried making a latte but when I added enough so that I could detect a matcha flavor, the drink had acquired a chalky texture. I'll have to try it in cookies.
